Hey.....Um....i been singing since i was 5 and i loved music since i was 3. I really really want to become a singer and i dunno if i can. Everytime i hear someone good sing i think they r better than me. I dont think im good enough.....im also really really shy to sing in front of ppl and i dunno y i didnt have a problem singing infront of ppl when i was 5. Can u please help...and tell me how to be not shy anymore and overcome my fear....one more question lol do u have to play an instrument to become a singer?? my mom says u do! but that makes me feel even more worse because my mom dosent understand! And it makes me wanna give up on singing!! So SORRy this long. Thanks!!!!

aww i think i know who you are..and hopefully im right..and if not you sound exactly like one of my very close friends..but yes anyways aww everyone has their stage fright..even me too..its like in choir when were in a group im not nervous at all but once im solo everything changes..i bet you have a very pretty voice and you shouldnt worry about what other people sound like!the important thing is worrying about how you sound and i bet its great!well to overcome your fear you just need to have a lot of cofidence in yourself and not be afraid of taking a risk!sure everyone messes up but how would we know on improving if we didnt make mistakes!well i have heard playing an instrument does help on reading music but i never played one and depending if your my age i wouldnt start playing one now either..you learn how to read music anyways in class so it should be alright!i bet you have an awesome voice and if you keep up what your doing now and gain some more confidence in yourself you should be great!if you want to become a little more profesional you should maybe start taking private vocal lessons..a lot of people do that but i have to warn ya it costs money!i hope i helped!=)!
