im only 14 and about 3 days ago i got hit in the side of the face with a softball during warm up to a game... my mom took me to the doctor yesterday and he said that i had a concussion and to watch it closly because i might have a slow internal bleeding in my head... he said that if i started to act funny and get slurred speech and can barly walk that i probably need a cat scan to see what all happened for shure.. in the short time that ive have this the back of my head behind my ear has swelled up (i was hit in the front of the head) and i have really bad headaches... im getting to the point where i walk really slow and i almost fall over.. i scared of what will happen and when my friends found out they all started crying... the person who threw the ball that hit me in the head cant forgive herself and i dont know what to do.. i dont know whats gunna happen and i just need some help

Maybe give some free advice about: Injuries? blondebombshell33 answered Thursday September 2 2004, 7:11 pm: HeY sWeetie! well i jsut wanted 2 say that i hope ur alright! that sounds super scary!!! i dont know much about medical stuff.. but i know that this can be serious! if the chick wont forgive herself... sit her down and let her know that ur not mad... in person is the best way 2 talk 2 some1... tell her that u know she didnt try and give her medical updates on how u are. as for ur friends. this can be sO freaky! when i found out that my friend got in a car accident i was freakin out! because ur friends r gonna be super concerned! as 4 u.... until the cat scan comes... u wont kno exactly whats wrong... but it sounds serious. ask ur doc if these are long term effects and make sure 2 get plenty of details.
