hey my name is sami and im 14. i really like my guy friend. he used to like me too at the begininng of summer but now that school has started i dont know anymore. i try hinting that i like him in my AIM profile and stuff and then he trys to guess who it is. and when he guesses himself i just say no. im too embarassed to say yes cause i dont wanna make our friendship too akward if he doesnt like me too.. ive asked my friends and they dont think i should tell him. i dont know im crazy about him but what should i do? thanks in advance. -sami-

sorry, but the only way he's gonna know if you like him is if you tell him, or have someone else tell him you like him. one of the best ways to let him know is to have one of HIS friends tell him.
another good way is just to treat is as a joke for a little bit. give him a hug at the end of the school day with a 'see you tomorrow'... and if you're close enough friends, you can say 'love ya' like a FRIEND! no offense or anything, but guys get the point from smaller things sometimes more than other things. i mean, give him a candy wrapper tomorrow. it might sound stupid, but it works. you gotta stop lying to him though. he'll get confused by that when he finally figures out you like him. he'll say 'then why did you say you didn't like me on IM' or something. keep dropping little hints. go out to a movie with some of your friends and some of his friends, and invite him too. go as a group. if you still need help, just IM me

Well do it over AIM, say something along the lines of "so would you ever like me in more than a friend way" and if he doesnt sound into it like then just play it off with a "jk" because he wouldnt be able to tell if you were being serious or not since he cant hear the tone of your voice while saying it, if he seems interested maybe be like "so did you guess who the guy in my profile was yet" if not just change the subject to something else... just try and figure out if he likes you first, most guys dont like to show that they like you all the time because they are afraid of rejection.. so just do it casually
