okay, i wanna ask this guy out but...

ok, im really close to this guy and i really wanna ask him out, since he prolly doesnt have the nerve to ask me out (he's kinda shy) but we hold hands alot and i know he's interested in me, buti just dont knwo how to ask him without souding desparate. any one got any ideas?
