Question Posted Tuesday August 17 2004, 11:43 pm

I'm going out with this person who is my best friend. I love everything about him, he's as close to perfect as I can find. The only thing is I don't think he likes me...when he asked me out he still liked my best friend too. I don't want to ask him straight forward do you like me because if he says no I'll be devastated and either way I'll feel uncomfortable. Also he's done stuff with other girls before including my best friend. I've never really done anything with a guy and I want to but idk if I can compare to my best friend because all the guys love her. What should I doo?

by the way - I'm 14 and a female

I think you should talk to him and be forward with your boyfriend and know what he is all about. Ask him, " do you still have feelings for (your other best friend's name)?" Why would you feel uncomfortable? You should show your man that you love him and you want to be with him plus your worried.
