Can columnists refuse my question

Question Posted Tuesday August 17 2004, 5:48 pm

If I specifically direct my question to one columnist in particular and check the option that says after 7 days direct this question to everyone if not answered by this person....Does that particular columnist have an "option", if you will, of automatically rejecting the question and turning it over to everyone immediately, even if it hasn't been 7 days? Thank you in advance for your response. (I really do have a good reason for asking this question.) ;)

Yes, if they reject the question, it gets reposted to the site. If you don't check the box and they reject the question, it gets deleted.
