SouthernBarbieGirl answered Monday August 9 2004, 7:46 pm: I have a very strong point of view about this subject. I'm just going to tell you straight! okay? Before the 60's the abortion law was that the mother could only have an abortion if she or the baby were in danger. In 196? that law was changed by the Supreme Court. They are still legal today. Now to the point, in my personal opinion it's wrong. I believe it is murder and that life begans at conception. I think that if you are willing to have sex, you should be willing to suffer the consiquences. I think that it goes against all my morals, values and christian beliefs. I think that if a woman is in danger (her life) that an abortion should be considered, but then and only then. BUT the laws are not based upon morals and values. So if the mother see's fit to end a babies life, for whatever reason, I think it should be left up to her and God. Hope this helped sweetie! :D -*-Sonnie-*- [ SouthernBarbieGirl's advice column | Ask SouthernBarbieGirl A Question ]
