Okay well im 14, and im going into High School in about a month. Last year (8th grade), i had alot of problems and i started cutting, but i have stopped because i found that it doesnt help your problems. Well anyways i should be getting a physical soon and i have about 5-6 scars on my arm by my hand (kinda near my veins where my hand connects to my arm) and im really scared that my mom or the doctor will see them when i go for the check up. What exactly do they do at the physical, and i need some help on this because im fricken scared outta my mind! My dad said if i ever tryed to kill myself he'd send me to a mental facility (seriously) because he says that i'd be crazy. But i really dont want anyone to see the scars! What should i do?!Thanx soo much=D

Alright well you can tell your mom to wait in the waiting room and go in by yourself, physical they do check your pulse on your wrist. And the also check your balance and stuff... But other than that I dont know what you can do :-/ and if your mom see it just tell her dont tell your dad it was just a way to release your stress... and if the doc sees tell him the same thing or something. Sorry my advice wasnt much help... I had some issues myself this year (i'm going to be a sophmore) but i did it in places people couldnt see.
