if you have had your period enough times that u are used to using pads, then i think that its time to use tampons. i use them, and they arent bad, and they dont hurt, well at least not to me. they might hurt your first time, but if you get a package of them, make sure you read the directions and use them correctly. there is nothing to worry about. good luck and im sorry! -PA
