Stuck between a rock and a hard place

Just to clarify, Im 16 years old. Im from New Jersey.


Heres the deal.. I like this certain girl, and Im more than positive she likes me back.. and this other friend I have doesnt quite agree with the idea of me and this girl going out. And if this other friend wasnt so close to me, I really wouldnt give a shit what he/she thought. But I care for them alot.. and i respect them alot. What should I do?
