first time..

I've been dating a guy for 8 months. He says he's in love with me, and yea i suppose hes a good boyfriend. We've been through a lot together..but i dont think i am DEEP "in love" with him...I love him but i am 14 i dont think i should commit myself to that big of a thing yet. a few times we have talked about sex...he says he'd wait and stuff but i am afraid i will never find a boy as good as him or who treats me as well because along with my boyfriend, he is my best friend (thats a guy). Should i have sex with him (as my first time) so it is special or take the risk of never finding anyone else and wait?
