I really want to be a moderator, but I think the reason I'm not is because my sister asks really goofy questions on my site and gets me banned. So if you could tell me how to get to be a moderator, that would be great.

being a moderator isn't that great. you don't get extra stars by your name or a special icon or something, you're just expected to rank questions for the good of the website. so you're not missing out that much, don't worry. currently, we have enough moderators so I kicked all "once banned" people out of consideration, but someday we might add a time limit (if you were banned a month ago it's okay, or something like that)
