Personally, I find it best to meet them somewhere private so it's simple to carry on a conversation where you can easily express everything you feel necessary. Sometimes it CAN be hard determining the 'right' way to say it. I just tell it to him as it flows... it's your feelings.. if you like him.. he's probably AT LEAST a decent guy, so I'm sure he'll respect what it is you have to say to him.
