Question approval is currently broken

due to an error in the site code, we are unable to approve questions... in fact, this very comment is probably doomed to the queue.

Additional info, added Tuesday July 6 2004, 10:47 pm:
For those who are confused by this, the problem is fixed, and it is why the site is running in "backlog" mode, which has already been announced. This all ties into the new approval process and the php error we had overnight that caused a backlog of 70-some questions to sit waiting for approval.
The site is now fixed..

yeah, it's been a bad day. sorry about all this! the error is fixed now but we've got a 70 question backlog to deal with... everyone give lots of advice!
