I understand what u mean. I think what you should do is tell him. If he considers u as a friend, tell him you miss him and u want to keep in contact(as friends). If he doesn't freak out, then you have nothing to worry about and tell him that when he moves, you'll miss him alot and you're going to still talk or write to him.
