I really need help with a poem about love... does anyone have any ideas to help get my creative juices flowing? (so to speak) Thanks!!! -Fantasyshorti4u (if any of you remember me..)
If you can't come up with a great line, find a line by another poet and work from that. You can edit or change the line later if you want to be completely original. [ lynx_wings's advice column | Ask lynx_wings A Question ]
Cspinoza1 answered Sunday April 18 2004, 11:12 pm: When writing poems the best way to get your creative juices flowing is to think about what you want to write about and then write about what you have and what you don't. Such as you can be in a relationship but you write a poem about being in a relationship without the love you wish you had. Or how your not in a relationship and you write about what you want within the relationship. So use your life as the biggest reference or the lives of people you know.
