Sending a large file to someone without e-mail
Is there anyway I can send a large file to someone without necessarily e-mailing them?
I recorded a musician's set (so the audio is about an hour and half) and he told me to send him the audio. I don't want to ask him for his e-mail, so is there any way I can upload it somewhere and just send him the link and he can download it from there?

You can put your files on any cloud drive (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox) and send that person a download link.
However, I found it's much easier and faster to hit Filemail.com - you can use it to upload anything up to 30 GB for free. Then either send a download link to someone’s email, or send the link to your own e-mail and hand it to the other guy via Facebook or Skype (or whatever you used to communicate in the first place :D). The link stays active for a couple of days, and download / upload speeds are very good.
Filemail also looks more professional than other file sending platforms. And if you send often, you might get a business account and have people download files from a page with your own custom branding.

Yes, there are lots of ways you can allow someone to have access to a large file without the need to know their personal e-mail address.
First off, how have you been communicating with this musician anyway? Have you only met in person? Do you have any online information about him such as a Facebook fan page or his own website? This will determine how you can actually get the file to him.
But before we get to that, I'll tell you about a few simple sources to get the file to be accessible by a simple link.
You can use any of the following sources among several others:
Google Drive - www.google.com/drive/about.html
Hightail - www.hightail.com
Dropbox - www.dropbox.com
Google Drive is my personal favorite because it's free and easy to use.
Through these types of sites, you can upload large files of almost any type and opt to share them with others through a link the system will create for that purpose.
Once you have the link, if you have something like the aforementioned Facebook or website info for the musician, you can just send them the link through one of those. If you've only met/contacted the musician in person, although it might be a bit of a pain, you can always print out or write down the link URL and give it to them in person.
