im trying out for cross country in about a month or less. any tips on what to do to prepare? and does anyone know how much it will cost for like everything? its the freshman girls' team

The biggest part of the cost will be your shoes. Good running shoes cost $60-$100 (do not try to cheap out and find $30 ones, your feet and legs will not forgive you!).

To prepare you just need to run. Definitely start now. Run for at least 30 minutes a day... if you can't run 30 minutes, walk every once in a while, but decrease that walking time each workout until you can make the whole half hour.

you should run a lot to build some muscle and to get in shape. cross country should be free. but idk. i hope i helped . good luck. :D
