Sick of being ditched My boyfriend is out of town, so I'm spending time with new and old friends for a change. Well, I'm quickly beginning to remember why I stopped hanging out with people. Guys always make plans with me, but then I get left for other people often.
I'm attractive, but I feel like I don't have the personality to match. I can be a little boring, I'll admit. I don't want to change who I am, but I do want to be able to relate to people better. My parents always question why my plans get changed so much, I hate admitting to myself that I'm not as wanted as I used to be. People used to love being around me, I was so outgoing. Now, I'm just so annoyed by many people that I can be a drag to be around. How do I get the old me back?

Do the things you used to love! Maybe since you've started being with this boyfriend you haven't had as much 'you' time. Try picking back up some of your old hobbies and talk to your friends! It's not right of them to ditch you like that.
But, if you haven't hung out with them in a while, there is a possibility that maybe you guys have just grown apart. Try and scope out some new friends, maybe through church or a local recreation center. There's all sorts of places filled with friends you haven't met yet. :] ]
oh honey I am in the same boat.
I suggest going on vacation. or just out to your local dance club/bar(age permitting) or find out when there's local bands playing. Local band shows are always a great way to meet new people.
I'm not saying get new friends. just Meeting new people seems to be theraputic in a way. and when you're out, let loose. don't be a whore. but just let your guard down talk to strangers.
I have learned a hell of a lot from strangers. People I will never see again. So I could be as crazy as I wanted. or chilled or pretend to be different for a while.
Just getting out of the house and around new people works wonders on building personality. it gives you stories to share when you get back home and chat with your friends. And you get pretty comfortable with meeting people.
