She doesn't sound like a friend to me, thats for sure, and she's rude as hell - she should return the invitation. And by the way - dont feel bad OR left out - this girl seems like she's using what she has to make people her friends. Well soon enough, she'll discover that people will use her. Material doesn't mean anything - it doesn't beat loneliness and not having any real friends, so in the long run, just call her after her party and tell her happy birthday and give her a gift if she got you one - that makes you the bigger person. If she's a good friend she'll apologise to you. ]
If your "friend" didn't invite you and she invited nearly 50 other people, then she can't be too good of a friend. She might not think of you as the friend you think of her as! She might just consider you someone she talks to. You can ask her why she didn't invite you, if it's really bothering you a lot. If she invited a lot of "popular" kids, she might just want some attention from them. Just talk to her about it and tell her how bad it made you feel to find out that you weren't invited. ]
I don't know your friend, so I can't say for sure, but maybe she could only invite a certain number of people to her uncle's house. It's ONE party that you didn't get invited to. Just let this one go. Get her a gift or something and tell her that you hope she has a happy birthday. I definatly see your point on this one.. because she came to your birthday party and it's only polite to return the invitation.... You can't really do anything to get yourself invited, but if you act like the bigger person in the situation, maybe she'll realize that not inviting you wasn't really very nice. ]
Hm...wow, I'd say she's just trying to get popular and stuff, and she's just blowing you off. If you ask me, she's not a very good friend. Next time you have a really awesome thing going on, and she expects you to invite her, say no, or just act like you don't know what she's talking about.
Have you asked her why she didn't invite you? Even though its rude, you should remind her that you have been her like...best friend. ]
