Yes, it is bad.
It drys out your hair and in a way 'burns' it and causes flyaways.

But everyone does it anyway! Same as straightening, curling irons, etc..

There's loads of produts that can stop your hair drying out from using stuff like that on your hair.

Go to your local drugstore, explain the problem and see if they can recomend anything.

You might have to try more than one product before you find one that works for you because not all products work on everyone but still, it'll be worth it in the end.

it wont damage your hair so long as you wait until your hair is like damp instead of really wet (so you dont over dry your hair, and if you use some kind of heat protecting spray. If you already do that then thats great! Hope i helped!

yah! its drying your hair out which is not good! if your going to continue to blow dry every day but in a cream or gel and use shampoo conditioner for dry/blowdried hair. (check the label). that way it'll treat your hair so it wont be as bad when you blow dry every day. if that doesnt work then dont blow dry everyday maybe just 2 to 3 times a week!

♥ hope i helped

im going to say the opposite, if u use the right protecters on your hair no your hair is fine, i use a hair drier and straighten on my hair EVERYDAY and all my friend say they love my hair it never looks dry never really has split ends, its soft and alive!
all i do it rub some blow drying cream into my hair when its damp and just before straightening use sun silk smoothing lotion u can use it on wet hair too! there's plenty of blow drying creams that aren't expensive at all!
i've been washing blow drying and straightening my hair everyday for 1 1/2 years and its the best i've even seen it!

Yes, it is. Blowdrying your hair daily causes heat damage. The heat dries out your hair leaving it to cause split ends and to break. All sorts of devices, for hair, that use heat are damaging for hair. Instead of blwdrying your hair, let it air dry. If you want to dry it, then don't use the hottest heat setting. Place the setting on a cool temperature level and blow dry and style as usual.

ComplicatedParadise answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 11:14 pm:
Yes, that is damaging. I used to do the same thing. I would wash my hair every morning then blow-dry it afterwards. The heat from the blowdryer does dry your hair out which causes it in the long run to break off and start splitting at the ends. Also washing your hair everyday is hard on your hair, it dries it out too. Your hair has natural oils that make it shine in it and sometimes if you wash it too much it washes those oils out which leaves your hair dull and dry looking. Maybe you should try and wash your hair every other day, or if you can't stand that wash your hair and let it air dry, or if that isnt good enough get a blow-dryer that has a cool dry on it, its a button that lets you dry your hair with cool air. It is a little better than with the heat on it all the time. Also find a shampoo that protects against breakage/ split ends, I use infusium 23 shampoo and conditioner and leave in conditioner after I blow dry and it really corrected my hair, also garnier fructis is good. Make sure you use a really good conditioner though, it helps repair the damage you have caused. Also another thing is after you wash your hair let it air-dry for a few minutes, and then blow dry it when its damp, not soaking wet.

DrAnqel answered Wednesday September 21 2005, 11:10 pm:
Heat is generally bad for your hair. If at all possible, you should blow-dry your hair on "cold" or let it air-dry. Heat damage to hair usually leaves it frayed and unruly when not properly taken care of, it can cause split-ends too. So take care of your hair, use heat-safe spray or something to lessen the damage on your hair. Hope I helped.
