DruidX answered Friday September 3 2004, 7:01 am: It sounds like you might have a skin condition like dermitis or excma. Untill you can see a proffesional about this I say use some E45 non-aquius lotion to mostureise.
I know you said not to go to a doctor, but it sounds pretty serious, so you might have to. Or you could go to a pharmacy and ask there, because the staff are usually trained to deal with minor complaints like this.
And is there any reason you couldn't go on your own to the Drs? [ DruidX's advice column | Ask DruidX A Question ]
pimpettex answered Thursday September 2 2004, 11:07 pm: Well it could be from the sun. Even if u use sunscreen n dont get burned sumtimes ur skin peels. Or it could just be that its just time for your skin to peel to get a fresh new layer..yeah i know sounds gross. U could use some kind of face wash that exfoliates which would take off a lot of the dead skin. Or swiming in salt water could do the trick. Good luck!!! USe something like clinque moisturizer or nivea creme. Hopefully that will help! and i dont know if u wear alot of makeup.. but if u do try to use less because it could be irritating your skin and causing the problem.
