my friend probably weighs like 160 pounds and she is 16 but she wears the hoochie clothes that are like 10 sizes to small for her!! everytime i say to wear clothes that fit or stop wearing hootchie clothes so says u just jealous cuz i look better, but she really really doesnt! everything i seem to say she doesnt listen, i even bought her clothes that fit but she just put them in the back of her closet and never wears them. what do i do and say??!!
Amanda801 answered Friday July 2 2004, 11:04 am: In my opinion she doesn't like they way she looks and thinks that her wearing "hoochie clothes" will make people notice her and not her weight. Tell her the truth about the way she really looks, but don't say stop dressing like a hoochie or what not, tell her but say it as her friend, and make her realize that your not jealous of her and that your just trying to help her. Mizz_C answered Thursday July 1 2004, 1:57 pm: MAybe shez just feeling insecure and feels she need to wear clothes that are too small 4 her. If thats what she wants to wear, then you cant change that. Sooner or later someone will come up 2 whos not her friends and say the same thing.and she will have wished that she listened to you.
sunny answered Thursday July 1 2004, 12:36 pm: well it sounds like shes confident with herself if she thinks she looks good so thats a good thing.(kinda) I think you should go shopping with her and make her try on things that fit her and tell her how good she looks in them and dont let her try on any clothes that are too small and if she doesnt beleive you that she is wearing too small clothes ask one of the helper people there for advice on clothes theyll help and pick out clothes for u and then it will be harder for your friend to refuse the advice of trying on bigger clothes.hope that makes sence and i hope i helped u [ sunny's advice column | Ask sunny A Question ]
bAbYCHeeR792 answered Thursday July 1 2004, 12:09 pm: O wow. Tell her that she can get in trouble. And become Jailbait, then get hurt really bad. Tell her she looks better in the clothes you got her. Or try to get her somethign simular that she wears, but less skin showing. Or send her to a Jenny Jones show, she'll learn from that. [ bAbYCHeeR792's advice column | Ask bAbYCHeeR792 A Question ]
