first off - ignore anyone who says spikes are gross on girls, look at brody from the distillers! shes has spikes, mohawks, everything and shes drop dead sexy. okay, the only suggestion i have is using eggwhites. i used it one time (mixed with some other things) to put my hair in spikes and it worked pretty good. also, glue. i would bypass the gel. gel isnt strong enough to hold that long of hairfor a very long time. just buy a thing of elmers glue and get to work because it takes a long time to get girl hair into liberty spikes. have fun! ♥

Well first of all cut it to however short you want it becouse it will look really funky if its down to your shoulders. For gel i would use the Garnier kind..u kno that you see on the commercials. It should look pretty cute=)

I know a lot of people keep saying use glue but that seems to take a long time to dry. I use ShortNSexy Hair: Hard Up Gel. Your hair might be too long and heavy to stay up well, but take your hair and coat it with gel and twist it up in sections wherever you want- evenly spaced or not, it's your hair. After the gel dries, just sort of put a little bit on top so it's really strong, like coat the entire section of hair again. Then just spray it a lot with freezing spray.

Well, I think the best thing would be if your hair was not quite as long but if you really wanna keep the length and go with something crazy like liberty spikes/mohawk..i would suggest you use a extra hold PLUS ELMERS school glue. I know, it sounds crazy..but I know a ton of girls who have done it. But dont use the gel kind..just the regular white kind..if it seems a lil too think dilute it with a touch of water! Good luck :)

ask someone who has spikes. go to a beauty salon and ask for their opinion, or have them order some for you.
