You can always have a set time of when you are going to be on the computer and when you're going to get off. But, you can always just go out with your friends and hang out with them, get out of the house more! Hope that helped! GOOD LUCK!
blondebarbiedoll0 answered Monday May 31 2004, 7:35 pm: Well, many people are these days! It isn't a problem unless if affects your social life. If you cancel plans with your friends to play games on the computer, or talk to that person you met in a chatroom, you are TOO ADDICTED. I spend a lot of time on the computer, too..it's a fun place! Sporkster answered Saturday May 22 2004, 1:42 pm: I have the same, exact, problem. I used to spend like 7 hours a day on the computer. But I starting playing sports and doing after school activities. That really helped be cut it back to like two hours a day. [ Sporkster's advice column | Ask Sporkster A Question ]

I phrased that sort of oddly . . . hope it makes sense.
Also, avoid going on the computer all together. Maybe try to take a day where you don't go on at all? Or maybe just once a day?
MissieChan answered Tuesday May 11 2004, 11:40 am: Well trust me, your not the only one addicted to their computer. *points to herself*
Anyways to help get away from your computer may also depend on where you live. Say you live in Florida like me. It's May and its getting really nice out. I have a pool so everyday I go and swim in my pool. Then if your able to drive somewhere you can go for a drive to see new places. If you cant drive, like me, maybe you could walk someplace or ask your parents to take you somewhere.
If you live somewhere where it's cold right now staying in the house is most likely the best thing if you dont like the cold. Maybe watching some TV will get you away from the computer. Maybe get some kind of hobby such as Painting or Listening to music and maybe singing.
The most inportant thing is to figure out what you like to do most in life, besides the computer of course, and then trying to do that activity more often.
