I have been dating my boyfriend for 5 months. I'm 16 and he's about to turn 18. We love each other very much and are going to make it work while he's in college. I can see myself having a future with him and he even got me a promise ring. He was cheated on in a previous relationship and he though he would never make another girl happy. Fitting Into the term "Community" in the Workplace

All throughout the college, I always worked at being an overachiever. Succeeding in all of my courses and doing better than the majority of the other students.
After recently graduating, this is showing in my personality. I love the team that I work with, and our supervisor is awesome and VERY supportive - I am delighted to be working under him. He's the kind of guy who constantly takes out to lunch, has paid for some meals for us, and he's always willing to help out and give feedback. However, my subconsciousness seems to want me to throw anyone who I can under the bus.

close friends yet not so close?

Hey, so I have a group of friends, I consider them my best friends, there are 8 people and we sit together at recess at school and organise things outside of school.
The problem is that I feel like they're not like me. Recently there have been so many arguments over such small things that personally I would just let go.
They avoid confrontation and when they have a problem with someone else in the group some of them just b**** about them.
I appreciate that I have them but I just don't feel like I have a proper friend like a best friend.

It's none of your faults... It's mine... for existing. I always start to feel negative emotions because I get jealous of people or irritated when people give me one word replies and so on... It never seems to end. I've been jealous of example, people who mention their boyfriends or getting married, even if it's been just roleplays since it often feels realistic to me in a way, or just having happier lives in general, and it's so hard not to feel some kind of negative feeling when I'm alone in real life, myself... That's partially why I'm so obsessed with wanting people to talk to because even if it's only for a short time, it helps me evade those types of posts. But like I mentioned before... This same emotion ALWAYS repeats... I can't stan...

If a person files an EPO against another party and the person the EPO was filed against uses another family member to call the person who filed the EPO to continue asking for permission to see their child together for visits and has this other person calling them non stop to get the answer they want is that breaking their EPO

watching football/soccer at school

This should have been asked a few months back since it already happened but I'll need advice in case it happens again. So I live in England, ok? and my school decided to screen 1 of the England games for the football/soccer tournament "The European Championships". However, I had a few things wrong with this
1) You go to school to learn , NOT to watch TV
2) It was on at the same time as a gameshow I watch called Catchphrase. And the episode of Catchphrase that was on was the first ever episode to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the show. How to make a long book.

I'm writing a book. I'm not going to get too into the plot because I don't want anyone to steal my idea but it's just starting, and I'm on page 49 but I feel like it needs to be longer. It was on page 36 when I started, then I went back and added detail, minor characters, character relations and I got it here. I also added some more action scenes. It takes place in Europe (and it has to, due to the plot) and the characters have to travel around Europe. I thought traveling across a continent would make it a long book, but I didn't realize you could get around Europe that fast! I'm an American so I have to do a lot of googling, and you could get across countries within two hours it takes me 5 just to drive to New Jersey! How do I make the book longer?

My birthday is coming up in 2 weeks, and for the past week or so, I've been saying I want to try a candy called Mike and Ike (They don't sell them in the UK so online shopping is the only way to get them). However the last time I asked for them, my parents said that I can only have them if I get a haircut. My hair is quite long for a male, but not that long since it's not in my eyes or anything. However, I'm quite happy with the way my hair is, and they say it looks scruffy but I don't understand how, I think it looks fine. My friends say it looks fine. My cousins say it looks fine. My Family Won't Let Me Move Out!

I'm 18 years old and my friend suggested that I move in with her while I finish school. I wanted to because my family constantly yells at me and brings up mistakes in the past that I've made for something even as simple as not being allowed to date. I have calmly approached my mother, and several other members of my family about this (my siblings are all 25+ and haven't dated or left home, besides one who moved out years ago.) and they, especially my mother, just blow up and yell at me without listening. My life has always been tough, more downs than ups. Never married, no kids. I had a good job. I had a best friend, an only friend of over 40 years. Then I found a girlfriend. My Bosses Have Terrible Written Communication Skills

I just recently started my first job after college, nearly two months ago.
One thing that I have noticed is that while my bosses have excellent verbal communication skills, their written communication skills are terrible. I respect them a great deal, BUT the content that they write is absolutely horrendous. This is mainly because they are from India and English is not their first language.
There are a ton of spelling mistakes and terribly written content. I think that this could impact sales.
One of my bosses, the VP of Marketing gave me a case study, telling me to make suggestions on which content to add. While none of the diagrams or flow charts are terrible, the content is terribly written and would not sit well with a U.S. client.

I am a 23 year old female going through a really rough patch. Two months ago I had been highjacked, taken and raped by three men. I'd survived this unharmed only my belongings were taken. My life has become so different, i feel different my parents have become so protective, i no longer have a job because of fear and transportation problems. So I live my mom, and we've been having problems. Well, it's me that has the problem. My mom refuses to talk to me about something I'm not comfortable with. She brought back her ex-boyfriend, for no logical reason. He has done so many bad things to us and I can't understand it. She refuses to talk to me about how I feel, and get's super defensive when I try to talk to her about it. I can't stay with them, but I have no way to get out of the home. She doesn't care for my feelings, like a parent should. What can I do?
