okay i have a problem, but its not mine, its my friends. my friend has been talking to this person on AOL instant messanger for about a week. let's call my friend Bob and let's call who he's been talking to Mary (not real names) Bob is one of my BEST friends in the whole world. he tells me that Mary and him are really getting along and that she always says how she loves him, even though they've only been talking for a week. he isnt sure if he's scared of her or anything, but he told me that he thinks she's sort of like a stalker and you know stuff like that. theres two ways he can go about letting her go:
1) just telling her to stop being so obessive
2) be a jerk and maybe she'll stop liking him
he doesnt want to do #1 because it would most likely hurt her a lot. but i dont think he should do #2 because thats dishonest and mean. please help!!! what should he do?

wow ok i have the same problem with some of mi friends. Well i think he should do #1 cuz it might hurt her but at least she will get a hint. It seems like they dont eachother enough to say i love you or w/e and she needs to understand that. #2 might make him look like a jerk and that will make his rep. change to a jerk if he realli isnt. He might not want to hurt her but it might be the only way.

All you have to do is be yourself around him. Occasionally flirt with him and show him your interested in him so he gets that. Guys are complicated he might already like you but you just dont c it! Good luck girlie!

my friend always steals my friends. like just recently i started talking to this girl anna* and she goes and starts talking to her and they are good friends..well sorta and it pisses me off! and last year i met this guy jack* and we became BEST friends (still are) and whoa hey, shes friends with him all of a sudden! wow! what a surprise..not! ugh i know i sound selfish but it annoys me..like she has to have everythign i have and its starting to get to me! plz help (link)

The same thing happens to me but realli its no big deal. Its not like you totally own those ppl they r free to have other friends too. If it realli bothers you that much let your friend kno. It seems like you want to meet other ppl. If you dont talk to your friend they will never get the message that this bothers you. Maybe your friend wants to be like you i have a friend like that, just try to do your own thing and im not saying ignore her but have you time without her. Maybe they will then get the vibe you dont like having a twin that is exactly like you same friends and all.
