hey! i am not yet 18 but my boyfriend and i have been talking about having sex soon in the safest possible way. i dont want to bring this up with my mom (i do talk to her about things but i dont think she would understand this one.. and im not asking about how to tell her) but im just wondering any other ways i could let her get me birth control. for example... my period is irregular so i asked to use it to make it more regular so it doesnt just surprise me.. any other ideas would be great!!

telling her that your period is irregular and that why you think you should go on the pill would be a good thing to say. Another would be that you have been getting really bad cramps, thats why i went on the pill and i dont know if you have acne problems but birth control does wonders to clear up acne. ohh and i completly forgot. if you go to a gynocologist (i think i spelled that wrong) then you can tell he or she that you and your boyfriend are having sex and you want to take b.c they can write you a perscription and they have to keep it confidential. Also if you go to planned parent hood you can get b.c for free up to your 18. hope this helped hun =)


ok well lately ive been noticing ive been starting to eat more and my tummy has gained a bit of tummy fat and i dont have the time to work out at all but ive seen on a sight that if you suck in and hold your breath for awhile and repeatidly do that that can help build up the stomach muscles and ive been doing a few situps like 40 a day i just would like to know what else i could do that doesnt take much time and WILL WORK!

Well first to answer your question about sucking in your stomach and holding your breath, I've never heard of this. I wouldnt count on getting flat abs from it though. There are ways to get flat abs though. Doing sit ups is a great thing try to do as many as you can every day and each week add another 15. Running or jogging (or any type of cardio) is great for abs... try running for 30 to 45 minutes each day. Your diet also take a big role in getting those flat abs. All the bad foods that you eat gets stored in your stomach as fat. Try eating less sweets and salty fattening foods and try cutting out soda. I hope this helps!
