I am 14, in ninth grade, and I am female.
Okay, first I'm going to give a little backround information.
I had a boyfriend that tried to cheat on me with his ex girlfriend. I knew that I couldn't trust him ever again, so I broke up with him yesterday. Don't worry, I feel really good about it.
Well, a few days ago, I found out from one of my friends that another friend of mine, Ricky, likes me. At first, I wasn't sure I could trust the friend that told me, T.J., because T.J. is weird like that. Then, my best friend Megan told me yesterday that Ricky has liked me for a long time.
My question is, is it okay to go ahead and date Ricky so soon after dumping my previous boyfriend?

My mother bought me a beta fish (a Japanese fighting fish) and I have no idea how to take care of it. I got a book on how to take care of it, but you have to decode it (meaning I don't understand a word of it) The local veterenarians don't really know how to take care of these fish because not alot of their clients have fighting fishes. Does anyone on Advicenators know ANYTHING about these fishes? Do you know any sites where I can find information? (link)

I have a beta fish and i can help you.....It's not hard at all. Ok....you have to put it in Distilled water, and you can go to Pet Co or some other pet place and get the food for them, and there is this other stuff, but i forgot what it was called, but it help's keep their water clean. They like small spaces, so u can just buy a small fish bowl at a pet store, and clean the water about once a week. Hope it helps!

Alright, well I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on a Christmas gift. My friend, he is 14 and he loves video games. He plays them non-stop. And I don't have enough money for a game. What would you all suggest I get him as a gift?! Something $30 or less. Thanks (link)

well i broke up with my boyfriend in may and now i go to the same school with him and he still wants to be with me i dont even want to be friends with him and now he has a classes next to my locker and i see him everyday i dont want to talk to him and i told him i like another guy and he insists that we should get back together but i told him i dont like him at all and now he doesnt stop bugging me what do i do. or what can i do (link)

The next time you see him, quickly push him aside, and tell him to meet you somewhere when you both have time. Then when yall meet, tell him exactly how you feel. Now i know you have talked to him before, but this time be nice and calm and just tell him that you dont have anymore feelings for him. If he likes you that much, he should be able to understand.

i've known this guy for about 2 years and hes the best person i've ever met, no questions asked hes the greatest. but we're friends, yes, friends! that horrible word that makes it even worse if u do decide to go out w/ someone. well we're really close and all but nothing, zip, nadda, has happend even though we've done all the things couples do so i guess we would be described as friends w/ benefits but i don't want that and i've nvr seen him go out w/ any other girl as long as he's known me, what should i do?? I think you should talk to him about how you are feeling. Simply tell him that you want to be more than just friends w/ benifits. If he likes you enough, he'll understand.
