i am starting choir this year and i wont sing by myself in front of anyone but my my mom and she says i sound great but u know moms always have to say that u know!!! but how am i supose to know if im good or bad if i got neves.!!!! (link)

I know exactly what you're going through. When I tried out for choir I was so nervous that I was shaking. If you really want to find out how good you are but don't want to sing in front of people I suggest the following...
1 record yourself, that way you can play it back and rate yourself. Or give it to a trusted friend and ask thier opinion.
2 don't compare yourself to the singers on the radio or the t.v. They have lots of help, and besides your voice type is probubly different then thiers.
3 sing in a quiet room and concentrate soley on your voice, listen for flaws, or mistakes.
4 If your still that unsure get group voice lessons, that way you can sing and improve without having to sing alone.

This girl named Leah lives in my neighborhood and goes to my school.
We used to be best friends sadly, until I kind of tried to keep my distance from her. The reason why I wanted to keep my distance from her is because she acted like total jerk to me for no reason (I'm not gonna list what all she did to me) and then went and cried to me telling her to forgive her. All of my friends were attacking me, so I forgave her and I really wish I didn't do that.
She's is an effing stalker and I'm not kidding. She copies EVERYTHING my friend and I do (Yeah, it's supossed to flattery. Well, it's driving me crazy) All she does is talk about my other friends and when I'm not around all she does is talk about ME behind MY back. She wrote my friend a note today and my friend showed it to me.
This is what it said:
You probably are wondering why I was upset this morning. (I talked to my friend who she wrote the note to and my friend said that she didn't even notice and plus she didn't really care. ) Well I was confused, annoyed, mad, and upset. Katie (Me) has a problem. Dayna (one of my other friends) yelling at me for copying you two didn't help either. I'm already upset enough and plus I'm on my period (I'm on mine too so wtf.) She wont even get within a bazillion feet of me (She's obsessed with me and my friend. I was a foot away from her today so I guess she's blind.)
God, she goes crying to her everytime she has some stupid problem with me and says all this crap about me.
ALL she does is talk about how she hates all of my friends. She started cussing at me when I tell her to stop and I stand up for them. She will sit there and talk and talk and every word she says is a lie. She has seriously changed so much since I first met her. I know she isn't going to go back to who she was. I honestly think she forgot who that actually IS!
She's been a jerk to me lately and I want her to leave me alone. I don't want to be her friend anymore and she can't get that through her head! I know this kind of sounds mean, but if I told you what all she's done to me you would know she's the one who is mean...not me.

How do I just slowly let our friendship fade or just plain out tell her I don't want to be friends with her anymore?

Wow, who needs enimies when you have friends like that! It seems to me that you already have tried letting it slowly fade away, and that didn't work. I suggest that you confront her about all the horrible things she has done to you and tell her how you feel. Yeah I know it sounds corny but it's the only way. you need to tell her that what she's doing is bothering you and that you want her to stop. If she does then problem solved, but if she accuses you of bieng mean, or continues what she's doing you have to drop her. Trust me that you don't want someone like that around you. Either tell her face to face thatm it's over or call her on the phone. Do not send a not e or e-mail though it could be used against you later on. Most importantly I know that it sounds cold but if she comes back to you with another sob story you have to see through it. don't allow her to suck up to you and worm her way back in. Stand strong, it's the right thing.

I love to fight, I love the adreniline rush and the pain thrills me, so heres the deal, Onn my hockey team we do these things called cage boxing matches which is basicly just boxing. The thing is, everyone on my team is pretty much afraid to face me. I even agreed to one where the kid could use a knife but he wussed out. so any ideas on how i can convince people to face me? First of all of course no one would want to face you if you complely crush anyone that does. Think about it would you even want to face you? If yuor really serious about getting an opponent here's what you have to do.
1 I suggest staging a fight between one of your close friends where your friend beats you. This will show people that you are beatable, and purhapse not as scary as they thought.
2 tone it down a little, next time instead of completely crushing someone why not tie? This will encourage them to fight you again.
3 Ask someone to "practice" with you, that way you get some fun out of it and they get to improve.
4 never offer to let the opponent use a weapon, it'll only make them see you as even scarier and tougher then they already do. Also it could make you seem full of yourself {nobody likes a bragger}

First off you would want brown and coppery hues to accent your eyes, maybe a little gold. It depends how red your hair is. If you like eye-liner I would say brown, the same goes for mascara. For blush I would recomend a light brown, or very light pink applied sparingly. Light Red or magenta for the lips, with maybe a little gloss but not bright.

My husband and I are thinking of going to the USA and travelling around for a few months when he retires. Not knowing too much about things over there, I was wondering, as we wanted to use something like a winnebago for this, whether it would be better to buy, (how much roughly) or to hire, (from where)? Or is there a similar vehicle that may be better? We would want to start at one of the country and work our way to the other.
Also, are there any sights, other than the obvious, that we should take a look at? I do want to go to Sedonna, Grand Canyon etc.

The application process includes an interview, and I've never done an interview for anything before. Okay, I personally have done many interviews in my life and have {some hopefully good} advice for you.
1 dress for sucess, the cold hard truth is people are more likely to take you seriously if you show up in crisp, clean, and appropriate clothes as apposed to jeans and a tee.
2 Be on time, it sets a very good impression
3 Confidence,Confidence,Confidence If you show up briming with confidence and aprouch them friendly they'll probubly think that you can handle it.
4 smile, it makes you seem open and kind a PERFECT student.
5 Most importantly DO NOT STRESS just remember even if it doesn't work out it's not the end of the world.

Okay, this is Real advice. I am a prep but I'm not a superficial snob. Some people might tell you that to be a prep you HAVe to be mean, and buy mega expensive clothes and acessories but you DON"T! For a prep that is not exactly rich{and don't feel bad you'd be suprised how many preps aren't} try affordable yet still great stores like Aeropostale, American Eagle, or forever 21. There is NO need to spend $80 on a shirt that you're only gonna where once! Basically THE 15 RULES OF BIENG A PREP are...
1 never make a bad fashion statement
2 wear fashionable clothes
3 act like you're a princess {cause you know you are}
4 shave legs daily
5 use scented shampoo
6 never let hair go flat
7 have cool{nice} friends
8 have a popular boyfriend
9 don't wear to much or to less make-up{no skankiness}
10 kiss-up to teachers
11 always brush teeth {hygiene is a must}
12 always floss {again hygiene}
13 bring repair accessories
14 ALWAYS SOCIALIZE {they call it popular for a reason}
15 Most importantly, you don't need to put people down to bring yourself up {it just makes u seem unfun and pathetic, a real prep gets everyone to like her}
