I'm starting High School this tuesday.
I'm not scared or excited like everyone else is.
My friends are all going to different schools.
And I have a problem with meeting new people.
I have trust issuses with everyone around me(including strangers), so I try not to get close to anybody.
Everyone judges me as mean because of that.
Because of my hair, kids think I'm emo. and I'm tired of only making friends with kids who listen to emo music.
so, what do I say or do?
I want to meet all different types of people.
and this year isn't a good year for me, so I want to meet people who can help me get through everything. (link)

The main part of that question that caught my eye was the part about people thinking your emo. Um, listen. Last year, I had really hard times because of a lot of things going on in my life, and I tried some pretty stupid things, thinking it would make me feel better. It didnt. I almost lost my life. I stopped doing all of that nonsense, and now im happy again. But thats beside the point, i just recently dyed my hair black and sometimes I paint my fingernails black, blahblahblah. So now me and all my friends are considered "emo." I know what you are feeling. This is ridiculous. But DONT change yourself to suit someone else. Always be yourself. & keep your head up hunnie because there are people that would kill to see you fall. goodluck.

Wow. Its kind of amazing to see a guy this concerned about a girl. You don't see much of that. Anyways, hello. I'm Kristen/16/F. Um, if you notice that the girl looks at you a certain way, and she makes up excuses to be around you, then chances are she likes you too. If shes more of "just a friend" with the other guy, then make your move. This is what a lot of guys are confused about. Many girls, myself for example, have so many best guy friends. Usually, were closer to guys than girls, because they are always loyal to the friendship. But anyways, maybe what your not seeing is the way she feels about you, and how she probably just considers this other guy as a brotherfigure. Talk to her about the way you feel hunnie, youll get alot settled. i hope i helped. good luck.

Okay so i'm 14, and my boyfriend is 17.(he just turned it about a month ago, and i am turning 15 in November).
We are seriously crazy about each other, and if you want to say that a 14 doesn't know what love is, then i'm the next closest thing to it. We've been together for about a year (16 days shy). We want to be together forever. Yeah, you can think we're crazy, it's alright. lol. What i'd like to know is, is it normal to feel like this at an age like 14, and is it realistic that we could last forever? (link)

Hunnie, listen to me. Never let anyone tell you that you are too young to love. Love doesn't have age limits. Whoever is telling you these things, chances are they're just jealous. I'm really happy for you, even though I don't know you. I think its amazing that you are dating a seventeen year old, this must mean you are extremly mature for 14. I was fourteen once, and i must admit, i didnt know what love was. I found out when I turned fifteen. You do the math. Its not much of a difference. I have been with my boyfriend since my birthday last august. We just recently made a year. When we first got together, everyone would put us down and tell us that we had no clue what love was, we definetly proved them all wrong, and i know you and your boyfriend will do the same. Good luck hunnie.
