Ok, to start off, this really DID happen to my friend - not to me, who's just pretending it happened to my friend!!! Haha :)
Everyone in the situation is 14 / a freshman.
My friend Danielle takes piano lessons, and a boy, Isaiah, has a lesson right after hers. She started to really think he was cool (about a year ago), but never really talked to him. (She's pretty shy/self conscious about things like that. Plus, there's barely any time for them to talk.) However, she started talking to him little by little at piano lessons, for the past few weeks.
So, we do indoor track, and so does Isaiah.
He seems to have a lot of friends, but he's very quiet seeming. She has lots of friends, too, but might be a bit more talkative. Although she's quite worried about her appearance, what others think, etc.
So, she mustered up the courage to CALL him, and ask him to our Sadie Hawkins dance, which was a HUGE step for her! I mean, she's NEVER done anything like that.
She was getting all excited/nervous about it alllll day at our track meet. Then...he said no. He said he thought he was busy. But then she was reallly depressed and has now lost all hope in her future of boys. I had a feeling he might say no, because he goes to a different school, and they barely know eachother. But I don't know what to tell Danielle, because she was expecting/ hoping he would say yes.
I know him a little, (or, i know of him) because my mom worked with his dad and his older brother used to babysit me. He seems like a nice kid.
Please advise me on how i can help my friend! She's pretty upset about it. I know she'll be OK but what kind of things can i tell her to make her feel better? Any tips on how to get him to notice her more, at the next few meets, etc.?

For one, If he dont like her then he just simply dont like her. You can try to get him to notice her more but unless he has feelings then it pobably wont work.
However, I dont want to be negative theres always hope. He might have actually been busy or has a gf that he would need to go to the Sadie Hawkins Dance with. As for your friend it must be hard taking that big step and asking him to the dance.
That doesnt mean she should give up it might not be the right person for her.

ok so i am in the 2nd semester of my freshmen year in high school... i Right now i am very shy and am not making too many new friends i think it might be because i dont feel comfortable with my appearance so i am looking foward to sophmore year because inevitably there will be new kids who dont know me in my classes.. i want to reinvent myself and lokk really good next year and be more outgoing. i am afraid that no one will be willing to see me differently Do you think that reinventing myself will work or peoples opinions are set in stone? Definately, people change their opinions on things all the time. Reinventing yourself will show people who you really are and you never know what could happen and the friends you could make.

he sits up front of me in a class. i am 17 and he is 16. He isnt that cute but i have this crush on him. i think why i like him is because you see im not exactly the perfect person, and he seems like he is. I've gotten into some drugs and stuff like that and he doesnt even drink or do anything bad. i dont know. but i feel like i am a good girl when im around him. the problem is i dont know if he likes me. how do i figure it out? like he flirts with me and everything in school and when we see eachother at parties but when i try texting him he is really short. If he makes you happy and is a good person who you think could change you, then go for it.
Anything that can make you better is better for you. As far as finding out if he likes you. If he flirts with you theres obviously a pretty good chance he likes you. Lol. You just have to tell him how you feel.

would sumbody who was really your friend, ask you what is wrong with you, if u were mad at them or would they just be like "whatever"?
even if you were friends with them for about a month or 2. n you stop talking to them for a reason, if they were really your friend would they ask what's wrong? and if they dont, does that mean they wernt your friend to begin with? (link)

Just because your friend doesn't ask you whats wrong doesnt mean anything. Well it does sorta if they treat you different then other friends. Does he/she ask their other friend whats wrong? If not then it is probably a person that get annoyed by people asking them "Are you ok?" "Whats wrong". I have friends that say they are annoyed by that because if they were really ok would they be upset, or if their in a bad mood would they want you bothering them?

Blah, sorry but no you shouldnt. However, you could start talking to him and getting to know him better if you don't already. Then if he finds he likes you better than the girl that treats him like **** then maybe stuff will work out. Heck then why not get him a rose xD

everytime i try to search a song it says "lime wire is currently connected to the network.you may not return many results until you are fully connected with the network" and I dont know why!

I use LimeWire and Mp3 Rocket. I have yet to get a virus and its my 2nd year using it. However, Since you say that you just want to create a playlist there are websites where you dont even have to download the music. I use Playlist.com. Not only is it any music you want or just a playlist but you can take the playlist you make and post it to your myspace.
