ok i have this best friend (ill say bf) and well this gurl is gettin in the way of our friend ship like tryin to take my bf away from me everyone comes up to me sayin "sam (the gurl) is lioke tryin to take megan (my bf) away from you" and i say "no duh! we both know!" but yet my bf doesnt do anything she is "pretendin" to be this gurls friend.... what should i do to get this gurl out of the way of my bf' and mines friend ship? I'm sorry but you sound kind of selfish. Its not to much of a trouble to "share" a friend. Once you are best friends with someone then its not like they become yours and only yours. Heck my best friend has other friends, some of which she has known longer than me and some where she seems closer to them than me. But it doesnt bother me. The fact of the matter is that she is your best friend no matter what, no one can "steal" her.

courage is the base of the united states, without the courage of people, we probably wouldnt exist here, now, and/or under the conditions we live in. we are who we are because of courage.

Hey everyone. I have my own column, but I can't answer my own question. I met a guy online back in May or around that time. We didn't talk much until now, and we've gotten soooo much closer. We both think we're soulmates and meant for each other. Even though I haven't met him, I feel this connection, and it's really cool. I just don't know what to think though, because I hear all those stories on the news and everything, and it really scares me. What if he's a rapist or a serial killer or something?! I really don't think he is, because of some of the conversations we've have, but there's always that chance. I just want to know you're opinions on this, and what I should do about it. Is there anyway I can find out he's really 16 w/o actually meeting him? Thx in advance, sorry about the length. Happy Holidays 2 everyone!

well, what you could do is have him send you a pic, talk on the phone, or even meet him with a group of friends, never go alone. NEVER. There is no way that you can know for sure until its in person. but there are ways you can narrow it down and it would be to hared to get around. Just be careful. we dont want to hear about you on the news.

Me and my ex-boyfriend broke up...well, about a month or two ago. But lately, I can't get him out of my mind (I haven't been able to since the break-up), and I asked my friends if they thought he still liked me, they said yes that he talks about me a lot and what we did when we were together. The only reason we broke up is because we were bored with each other, but I think now we realized what a great relationship it was. He looks at me a lot and I look at him (right in the eyes), we talk a lot and we're pretty good friends still, I want to ask him out so badly but I'm scared to. So my two questions are: Should I ask him out again, and: How should I do it? (Through a friend, note, IM, etc.) Thank you!! (link)

Ok, one, dont have a firend do it. That is the oldest thing you can do. Plus everything is better in person. That way you can see his face if you do it. See with me, that happened too. Except it wasnt that we got bored it was our parents. Lets just say we got in trouble. Well, I was asking the same questions. Should I ask him out. Ok, I'm going to but how? Just talk to him about you two possibly getting back together. Tell him your feelings and see if they are mutual. If they are, look him in the eyes, and say, "will you be my boyfriend....again then?" i can guarantee that you will get a great response if you two have the same feelings. Just make sure that you dont make the same mistakes agian. Take it from one who knows.

Ok, I am 14 and turning 15 in a couple of months. I have not started my period and I wear a size B bra so I'm not sure why i haven't started yet. My sister and mom started when they were 12-13 years old, is there something wrong? Thanks Alot! (link)

Theres nothing wrong. All that's going on is that your body isn't ready to start yet. Every girl is different. I started when I was 14 and my mother started when she was 10. There is no way to know when you will start and you cant compare your age to anyone else. If it concerns you alot maybe you could speak to your doctor. But for now, just dont worry about it. Hey look on the bright side. You dont have to worry about cramps and mood swings. Haha.
