My alcoholic mother neglected my education from age 5 by "unschooling" me (it's code for lazy parents who are too prideful to admit their failure in homeschooling) I'm going to be 18 next year and I've never been so depressed and hopeless.
I tried to motivate myself to catch up academically years ago, but it just made me too upset to even open a text book.

First off I am very sorry to hear someone did that but you know what you are already on the right track you attempted to start your education that is a big step and I am proud of you.
Take it one step at a time. Make learning fun. Whatever level you are on the are books to help you earn such as reading,wriing,spelling math etc... Go to the local library and see if they have free textbooks or some for a few cents. Maybe even some pre- Ged. Classes. You can even ask a co-worker, family member or friend for help. Do not become discouraged. Become active. If you start today in a week how much will you learn then 6 months then a year. You're on your way. Just do not give up if you continue being angry at your mom and quit she wins. If you learn you will win!!! Good Luck to you.

I'm a 21 year old male from South Africa. About a year ago I met an amazing girl, and after months of trying I finaly got into a relationship with her, we've been dating for 9 months now and I get a feeling inside me that says things will work out between us and that she's the one. We have a lot of problems in our relationship, the biggest problem we have is our age difference, we are 4 years apart, her parents don't know anything about our relationship and if they do then they'll keep us apart. But the other problem is that I'm actually addicted to sex and she wants to wait for marriage since she's a virgin. I've learned that sex doesn't make a relationship and at most times actually ruins it. I really don't want to lose this girl, I've tried as hard as I can to get my mind off of sex but it gets harder and harder by the day. What must I do?? Well a relationship with a sex addict and a virgin that will be a hard one. But with understanding and respect you can make it work. Some things are worth the wait. If you really feel she is the one and abstinence is something she feels strongly about well wait. and respect her wishes. If you are truly a sex addict there is medication, meditation, and self help for that. You can over come your addiction. ive been pretty depressed for a while... i got my first bf in feb. 2014 and we broke up last week. also my frinds started fighting and hating eachother. i lost my only 5 frinds that i had made since 1rst grade. i started getting bad grades on my report cards and im getting made fun of for it. im just 10 years old but i cut myself and hav suicidal thoughts... please give me advice. Hi there well first off Please do not cut yourself I am sure you are too pretty of a person inside and out to do that. No one deserves that. You will learn boys come and go and we make new friends over and over that is how life is we learn to move on sometimes it hurts and it might seem like it is the end of the world but I promise you we have all been there and we have all lived through heartbreaks and lost friends. But please do not cut yourself they are not worth it and it does not release pain you will have pain later every time you look at those scars. Periods are tricky I am 35 you are young you will soon learn this they can be late stay longer and not come at all. But give it a few more days and check again. Also EPT is the best and the digital pregnancy test are a little more costly but they are good too. If you still have no cycle at Month 2 see your gynecologist he/she can do a blood test to confirm or rule out pregnancy. It is very possible your period is late due to stress, change in diet, alot of exercise or even an illness. A lot of things can affect your cycle.

I'm planing to get a tablet and the one I plan to get says wifi enabled? What does that mean? Does that mean I can use wifi anywhere for free or would I have to sign a plan? And if so, how much would unlimited wireless wifi cost? (link)

Wifi enabled means you can use wifi at free locations such as public places mcdonalds, libraries etc.., your home network you can even use your hotspot from your cell phone which will take from your data plan if you do not have unlimited data but pretty much this means your tablet can be on the go and no plan is necessary when you get one with a sim such as the free ones cell providers give they alot of them require a 2 year contract, activation fee, monthly access fees, and early termination fees if you cancel.
wifi enabled is better and cheaper!!! :) enjoy your tablet

I am 17 years old and I recently started wetting myself. Not massive wee's but big enough. The other night at 4 in the morning I rolled over and felt this sudden wetness like an someone had just broke my waters. I had to get up it was all over my legs! It happened again today. I'm just unsure what to do I have been on 6 months treatment for thrush so know its not that? I'm just super embarrassed and don't want my partner to find out!

I would check for a urinary tract infection especially since you mentioned a partner. Incontinence at your age and coming on suddenly can mean illness in the meantime there are undies that you can wear that will absorb wetness and smell they sell them at the dollar stores, walmart, and pharmacies in all sizes and for men and women. It does not sound like a reaction from the medication since you have been on that for 6 months and this just started. See a urinologist or have your general practitioner refer you. Good luck
