So I have this plant. I can't identify it, trust me I've tried, but I know it's common... big green waxy leaves, one flower on a long stem that's white with one petal and this white spiny thing in the middle? But that's not my question... the problem is that this plant is just perpetually dying, it a really awful and depressing way. I water it almost every day, I repotted it, it's by a window where it gets a decent amount of light I think, but 80% of the time it's just wilted and sick looking. I don't know what to do. It could be a nice plant, I feel really bad that it's so crappy looking. (link)
Is this a stephynotis (sic)? Some plants do better with a little neglect. It sounds like too much water. In what direction does your window face? If you live in the frozen North East (as I do) keep it back away from the window.
