Q: i've been getting the hiccups a lot lately and i'll have them for like twenty minutes and they're pretty bad and i can't seem to get rid of them no matter what. and it happens a lot. is this normal?

trust me this works. my grandma is a nurse so this is what you do take a sip of water or something it doesnt have to be a big sip and put your chin to your chest and swallow very slowly. THEY ARE GONE! it works =] yes it is normal.

Q: I have a really good guy friend. I like him as more than a friend. He has a girlfriend. Me and him have been hanging out a lot, but the other day I was in a bad mood, and he didn't do anything wrong(actually, he was being amazingly sweet), but I guess I was stressed out about a lot of stuff, and I was tired of watching him be with another girl, so I said some mean things to him, and yet he was still nice, and then I got meaner. Then he kinda ignored me. Now we talked a little, and he says he's nit mad, but he's not talking to me much, and he doesn't seem to care about me like he did. I think he's still mad and I want to make it up to him. A friend thought New Years would be a good time for all of us to get together and have fun again.

Q: Is there any difference between how a skirt fits on the waist and how pants fit? Because I can fit into size 2 for skirts, but need to go up to a size 4 or 6 for pants (American Eagle). AND, I measured my waist the other day and got 28 inches, but how do I fit into a size 2 which is supposed to fit a 24.5-25.5 inch waist? This makes no sense to me.

yes there is because pants have to fit in your legs too. so sometimes you run smaller in skirts if you have a small waist. and sometimes run bigger in pants because of your legs. which is not a bad thing though. =] hope this helps

Q: I am going to Costa Rica with my family, and we still have not set out a schedule. I am more of the go-with-the-flow type, so I rarely plan activities in advance, regardless of the situation. This time around ,however, is a bit different. We still need to decide on which areas to see, where to stay, etc.
For anyone who is familiar with Costa Rica, either through traveling or living there, any information on the following is appreciated:
- Which parts of the country (cities, sites, etc.) do you recommend the most? We would love to just see nature, beaches, etc., and as much as possible, try to stay away from the crowds.
-What is the transportation like there? Which mode is preferred?
- What activities do you recommend? Although I don't want to pack our schedule too much (we would love to just relax too), I think it would still be great to experience some fun things too.
