hay... i don't really have a mom to teach me these things but...can anyone tell me how people do those wavey curls in their hair..i tryed alot but i can... alot of people do their hair like that.....also how do you straiten your hair and keep it staight for the rest of day,...i have a really expensive staitner..it works great..just wanna know how to keep it straight... and can anyone tell me any cute prepy hair styles to do....thanks......by the way i have long hair.....okay (link)

my hair is naturally wavy but i have heard from a friend that buying defining gel by biolage or another brand works and then using a diffuser. it goes on top of your hair drier and kindof looks like a funnel with notches on the inside. the difuser works for her but if nething else try a curling iron and some serious hair spray. good luck

I'm really nervous about the entrance exams for high school. >.< I'll be applying to 4 different high schools, but when? My teacher said that the exams usually start around December to January. What do I need to study? In middle school all we really studied in math was pre-algebra and really basic algebra so I'm really nervous about my math. Was the test hard? How does these reccomendations work? Why do some highschools ask for interviews, and are they frequent? Please help this fretting senior junior high school student. (link)

first you should calm down im sure you will do fine. highschools arent going to test you on anything you havent learned i didnt study at all for mine and i got into a good school perfectly fine. i dont know how well you do in school and im not sure how strict the schools you are applying to are. I did interview at a school and they asked why i wanted to go there and what i was interested in for fun and for a career. But the school is just a building you have the ability to learn whatever you want no matter where you go. find a place where you fit in and feel like yourself, because the power to learn rests in your hands, take the initiative and go for it and dont worry you'll be fine.

ok so about 4 months ago i saw this guy, that worked in this shopping mall ... i had never seen him before... the point is was staring at me all the time i was there( in a really nice way..) and i did the same :) I kept going back for weeks... Till I plucked up the courage to give him my phone number and email address we spoke twice on messenger.. and sent each other a few emails.. the point is he continued staring every time i went there even though his friends have been there with him sometimes and I get the feeling he has told them about me.. but we havent exacly spoken face to face.. he has given me mixed signals cause i am usually the one who has sends him the emails and he doesnt answer for weeks . But a guy who stares at you for such a long time every time you see him... should mean something.. right? He has told me he is kind of shy… and he has a boring life.. Could he be hinting me indirectly that he is single.. Or something? He is working when i see him but that doesnt mean we cant speak...
I am really confused!! And any sort of help would do.. Ohh by the way im 17 going on eighteen and he is 21

there is a bit of an age difference and it doesnt really sound like you know his personality all that well. If he told you he was shy he might also be hard headed and just as confused as you after all you stare at him too. Id say hello one day ask him how he is ask him about a pair of clothes whatever lame excuse to start up a conversation. you can act right. guys dont always get signals girls send and if they do they might worry about whether or not you like them even though you email him you need to talk in person if you really want something to become of the relationship. remember every guy you see you dont have to date you can just be friends.

There is this one certain person that gets me really REALLY confused. Everyone says that we should go out and that he keeps on flirting with me...
Anywhos I like him because he's fun and rebelious and just awesome. He's fun to talk and hang with and I get along with him just absolutely fine.
In classes I would catch him staring at me and he would always want to partner up with me (but that may be because I'm smart and he's not too smart..=X) He would always poke me to try and make me laugh and tell jokes and such.
I know that this may be just his personality but idk. I'm hoping he likes me..because I like him. I know that there are about a bazillion questions like this on here but none of them helps.
From what you've seen above, you'd say he likes me but read this part: He usually hugs his [girl] friends and hangs out with one of the girl all the time (like go to movies with patrick and her and skate with her) and he wouldn't answer Katey when she asked if he liked me in front of me
It's sort of my habit to say "ew" when people ask or say "You should go out with/ Do you like (Name of a boy)" so whenever Katey or Jo (girl) says that I kept on saying ew in front of the boy although I like him.

there is the exact same boy at my school and two months ago i was in the same predictament as you. truth is guys wont say they like you especially to your face if they arent sure they will get the same response from you. let him know a bit you like him dont flirt excessively just be friends. guys are just as confused and nervous as girls and often think and debate about the same things. your friend may be hard headed and not realize your hints when you give them to him so you should make the first move. ask him and some of his friends and yours out. as an outing not a group date dont pair up or anything thats way too intimidating for most guys. then if he hangs out with you that night ask him out what do you have to lose. live today and dont look back.

I'm absolutley crazy about my boyfriend (Of one month) So crazy that I can't stop thinking about it, thoughts of him totally make my mind drift off in class. I don't have like ADD or anything, its just when I get bored in class my mind wanders on about thoughts of him, then I fall behind on the lesson. What should I do? (link)

I know the feeling all too well, i recently got my first boyfriend im seventeen too and well i was completely infatuated with him, so i tried to make myself focus and that didnt work, then i decided to step away from him for a while even though it broke my heart but i went on vacation for two weeks and when i came back i realized that im my own person too and although he was great i couldnt obsess over him and i started playing a bit of hard to get and he got closer to me and my mind was back to being mine again
