I am a high school senior and I cannot imagine any more of this hell. Sitting in a classroom being lectured about irrelevant information is not in any way fulfilling or satisfying to me. The idea that I am stuck going to class every day for the next portion of my life is almost too much for me to handle. The "core curriculum" sounds like death and I do not want to spend the entirety of my young life being lectured and assigned readings over western civilization in the precolombian times.
I thought this feeling would end once I graduated HS but I know now that is not going to be the case.
I want to go out and make a difference in someone's life. I want to travel, photograph, listen to music, meet people, and just make something of my life. I cannot handle irrelevant classes and busy work for 4 more years without going insane and becoming clinically depressed.

Not going to college is not an option so don't suggest that. (link)
I know how you feel. I wish when high school finished for me that my life plans could just be handed down to me. Trust me, I hate the core curriculum bullcrap that colleges force down every students throat. It's overwhelming and I've even had times where I've had a break down because it's just too much. College isn't easy (I think we both know that) but it can be rewarding. I don't know where you go to college or what you are majoring in but maybe the college you are at isn't giving you what you want. Or maybe what you're majoring in isn't really what you aspire to be. Maybe look around at other colleges and find what interests you. If you like photography, I highly suggest looking into a photography school. Also, many people believe that when they go to college they have to know what they want to do as soon as they start college. That's not true. It's okay to be undecided. It allows you to try different things and find out what interests you more.

I hope this helped. If you have any more questions, just ask. :)
