I would love to help people, especially with things concerning coming out, and things that have to do with gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender rights or issues. But really, ask me anything. I'd love to hear your questions!

I was just wondering if you are gay or lesbian. You say that you like anything having to do with gay rights. I don't hate anyone, I was just wondering. Thanks.

Well honestly I never said that I like EVERYTHING to do with gay rights. I was just curious about what people thought. And yes, I am a lesbian.

Im going on vacation in a couple months, and I seriously can't wait for it. Also, for the next couple of months of school we don't have any days off.. and I have been getting used to having a couple days off a week! How do I get more used to this, and how can I make time go by faster so going on vacation will seem like it happened very soon.
Thank you alottt. (link)
well. i know the feeling. my suggestion? it may seem a little odd, but here it is.

Take the number of days until your vacation.
Divide this number by seven.
Now, you have groups of __. The number you get.
Those first __ days are Sunday. After Sunday comes the next __ days which will be your Monday. Etc. Soon it will be Wednesday (your hump day!!! halfway through!!!) and then soon... SATURDAY, the last "day" till your trip!!! Yay.

15/M My locker is next to someone who has some bisexual friends. There are 2 of them. The other day when school was over, one of them was like, hitting on me and saying that I'm cute and sexy and stuff like that. I'm straight, so I got a little freaked out. I am used to getting that from girls, but I'd never had someone who's gay do that before. The kid is pretty proud of be bi, too. He wears shirts that say stuff like "Don't hate, celebrate," and "Gay pride." He also wears rainbow-colored shirts and he wears make-up and acts and sounds very feminine. So it's not like he's trying to hide anything. Anyway, the other day when he did that, I got all mad and called him a fag, queerbag, and other derogatory words and yelled at him. And then, yesterday, he was standing in front of my locker, but instead of politely saying excuse me, I said, "get out of my way, you faggot," and then I grabbed him and pushed him out of my way. Then I said, "did you like that when I grabbed you, gay boy." Some of my friends said to go beat him up, but I would never do anything like that. My mom thinks that bisexuality is wrong because she thinks that people should pick to like one or the other. She doesn't hate anyone, and neither am I. I'm not against gay people. But what should I do to deal with this and what should I say to the kid to apologize? When those 2 incidents occured, everyone around was laughing at him and teasing him. I feel bad for him and I felt guilty. The rate of suicide among gay teenagers is high, and I don't want him to commit suicide and then blame me for it. What can I do to get rid of my anger? Is there counseling or anything? (link)
I think that maybe you should talk to your guidance counselor. i am very proud that you feel sorry for calling him a faggot. being gay, or bisexual is EXTREMELY difficult in the high school years, but people have to understand that there are going to be people who get angry and say things they may or may not mean. apologize. maybe even try to get to know him. there's nothing wrong with not trying to hide who you are, anyways.
i think the person who called you smallminded was indeed, him or herself, smallminded. People cannot, and will not agree all the time on human differences. Believe what you believe, and as long as you do not hurt anyone else, you are doing your job as a human on this earth.
Peace,

i'm 16 and my family never listens to me when somthing happens to my younger brother(14) and sister(13) that is an accident. the other day my sister and i accidentally ran into eachother is a small hallway and she started to cry and i got grounded because i 'shoved' her into the wall. my parents never belive me because i lied 1 time about my sister having someone in her class to help her put with something that i had no idea about what her teacher wanted her to do. my brother is always beating me up and calling me fat, a hoe, and a bitch in front of my parents and he never gets in trouble even tough they watch him do it. no one in my family treats me fairly and the other day on our way home from the boling alley my parents were telling my how to fix my bowling but i told them that still had to work on throwing the ball properly and and they made me walk halfway to our house which was about 10 miles from where they kicked me out of the car. is there anyway for me to get my family to treat me better and get them to listen to me. i don't want to get taken away from my faily. i know that i'm the oldest but that doesn't mean that my family has to treat me like this. is there any way to get my family to respect me? (link)
wow... sweetie, i'm soooo sorry...
you're probably in high school, right? talk to your guidance counselor, because that's what they're there for. maybe they can refer you to a family therapist or something... guidance counselors really DO want to help you. may power be with you. :)

okay, so i absolutely HATE getting zits, like any teenager of course ((15/f))
but, i have freckles, so when i do get them i feel like i cant really use coverup because then my freckles wouldnt be the same.. you know what i mean?
like, everyone else basically that i know dont really have freckles, so they can use cover up and stuff, but i cant because i have them.. so what can i do that would hide them, or make them less apparent.. any good cover ups that WOULD work for me??

thanks.. (link)
well. if you put a little, tiny bit of coverup on a Q-tip (cotton swab) and just dab carefully, your freckles might not be covered up. also, always wash your face carefully to prevent more zits from coming! because zits suck, girl! ;)

my last period was oct. 22 and i still havent got my period yet and its november 26. im really worried & im still a virgin.

any ideas on why i havent got it yet? (link)
periods sometimes fluctuate a little, here and there. sometimes it's not EXACTLY on time. but if you're really worried talk to your doctor, and you can go see a gynecologist if the problem persists. but i'd wait until at least mid-december. if it's at least a month and a half, then it becomes something to worry about.

Okay, in your honest opinion does CRL, Lime Away, Kaboom or whatever work? What cleaning products do you think is the best to get rid of tough stains like the one in my tub. I don't know why but about 5in up the sides there is a color difference and it's darker and I think it's caused by my laziness of not cleaning it as often and as much as I need. So I need to know what cleaners work the ebst in bathrooms and how to get rid of that stain easily. (link)
Well clorox has always worked for me. Clorox is a great life-saver when it comes to the laborious task of cleaning the bathroom.
good luck!

Alright well I'm 14.
I'm 5'2'' and I weigh 137.
I think I weigh to much for my height.
I used to weigh 128 but I gained it all back.
I really wanna get down to 117.
I think I'm a little fat.
I'm not sure what to do at all..

What do you think?
Do you think I'm at a healthy weight now? (link)
hmm. That may be a little much. Your BMI (body mass index) is 25.1 which is borderline overweight. just google "bmi" and you'll see the charts and stuff.
Want to know a secret? A really, really easy key to losing a few pounds? Just two words: Watch calories. A can of soda, calorie-wise equals just about two cans of fruit juice. So choose your drinks and foods wisely and I GUARANTEE that in 2 days or less, you'll be on your journey downwards! Don't be discouraged! Buy yourself a pretty piece of clothing if you get to your goal, too.
Good luck, hon.

I need a catch title for my english paper. It's about blood motif in Macbeth, but the title is supposed to be catchy and kind of funny. Two others in the class are using "Whats Blood Got To Do With It?" like the song "whats love got to do with it?" and "Alls Fair In Blood and Gore" and I need a cute and catchy title like that. Any help would be much appreciated. (link)
I have one:
1. Those Bloody English! (because... you know, the expression "bloody" is so common in Great Britain and the book is to do with blood...)
And I may have another later if a creative whim strikes me :)
good luck on the paper.

my name is katie. i am writing for advice because i found a glass pipe with weed in it in my moms purse about 6 months ago. we got into a huge fight about it and she promised me she would get rid of it.; i never saw after that. but the other day i was looking in my moms purse for my library card and it was in there. i am so sick of smelling that smell on her clothes. it makes me really depressed and today i couldnt take the pain anymore and i cut my arm with a pair of scissors. i am so sad. i am lost and confused as to why she lied to me and about something so horrible to lie about. she could get in huge trouble for this. and i dont want to lose her over something like drugs. i am just really depressed and i havent talked since i cut myself. my arm is still bleeding and i did it in the early afternoon. i dont want my special ed teachers or therapist to find out. i am terrified of going back to the hospital because last time i went there i was put in restraints for trying to hurt myself. please help me. i am so scared. (link)
honey, TALK to your therapist about this. possession of illegal substances won't make you lose your mom, but it may end up helping her in the long run if you talk. the reason you are cutting yourself is because you are bottling it up. please, be good to yourself by talking to a trusted adult.

All day and all night I wear push up bras.
Could this be damaging or benefitting my
growth or possiblitity of future sagging?

Thanks (link)
It's not going to benefit your growth in any way but I don't see how it would hurt it either. I wear bras mostly 24/7 and I seem to be okay :)
