Hey Dianna,

There are so many things you can talk about with him. Try talking about some of your hobbies, your family, school, current events, etc... When you find something you have in common, it will make for a very good conversation. Some things to avoid talking about are highly personal topics (at least at first), and where you see the relationship going on like the first date. You don't want to scare him away. Other than that almost any topic is fair game. Also, ask him some things about himself. Asking him about himself is a clear cut sign that you like him and are interested to learn more about him.

Instead of looking for signs that he's going to dump you, think about all the ways that this relationship is going to work out. Guys love confidence. Good luck! :)


Theres this girl in my school, & shes like amazing. She has alot of confidence in herself & everything. But, shes not stuck up. Shes really nice to everyone. And shes like just every girl would wanna be like, i'm not over exaggerating at all. You never see her embarressed, or shy or anything.

The best way to exude confidence is to find out who you are and work it. Just like celebrities make a name for themselves with their talents in music, acting, etc... find something that you are good at and make it your trademark. Like to design clothing? Learn how to make you own one-of-a-kind clothes and cute acessories. Have a passion for acting? Try out for your school play. Nothing will give you more confidence than persuing something you love and being who you are.

Secondly, you need to learn the fine art of being graceful. Things are not always going to be perfect. You won't always wake up with catwalk-worthy hair. People will talk about you and it is not always going to be nice. You will do stupid things and people will laugh at you. You are not always going to suceed at everything you try to do. Sometimes you will fail horribly. You must accept these things. The truth is, it's not what happens but how you deal with it that means the most. Confident people know how to laugh at themselves even in the most troubling of situations. So the next time you trip in front of your crush, don't just blush and scurry away. Look him in the eyes, flash him a smile, collect your stuff, and walk away with your head high.

A lot of shyness stems from a fear of rejection and ridicule, and you will also near to deal with this obstacle. Strive to always do whatever you choose to do with 100% of your heart. Dive into things and take a chance. If you fail, take it as a learning experience and handle it gracefully. Don't let the fear of failure stop you.

i'm 16 years old and 5'1" and i'm about 175 lbs i know my weight is very unhealthy. i don't eat that much adn i try to eat as healthy as possible but i don't have anytime to get to the gym to work out. i'm really stressed out so that might also be a problem. i need to loose the weight according to my dr. i bowli, play softball and frisbee but no matter how active i am i can't loose any weight. is there any way to loose weight quickly but not do anything super drastic. i have a hard tim finding clothes that fit my and selfesteem is wayy low becasue of my weight. i don't look my wieght because i wear baggy clothes all the time. is there anything that i can do. i know that all the weight is not muscel weight because i have a huge stomach and my bmi is wayyyy too high to be healthy. i have no clue what to do. Upon reading your question, I too was curious to see how much hair grows in a day. This is what I found:

The average person's hair grows 1/100 inch per day. Assuming you have 100000 hairs on your head, that means all together your hair can grow about 1000 inches in a day.

soo, i'm 15 F, and I just had a crazy night. I've had a crush on my english teacher for a while. he's 42 but is extremely hot and sweet. I thought he never noticed me, but it turns out he did. Yesterday afternoon, i went to his office for extra help and one thing led to the next. I ended up performing oral sex on him(with a condom), we made out for a while, and he fingered me and gave me oral sex. I like him so much, how can I continue the relationship without getting him or me in trouble and without people finding out? (link)
As attractive as your teacher is, I think it is best to not continue this relationship.

I understand you like him and it is perfectly normal and healthy to have feelings for people, even teachers. But acting on these feelings is innapropriate.

First of all, you are 15 and he is 42, a 27 year old age difference. You are a minor so these types of actions are illegal. But putting the law aside, 27 years is a huge difference, especially when you are young. You are both at two very different points in your life. Despite the physical, there is probably not much grounds for a romantic relationship. Basically you are just setting yourself up to get hurt. Despite the fact that if he has a wife and kids you are hurting his family as well.

Secondly, he is a professional and there are certain rules that prohibit teacher-student relationships. If what you are doing gets out, he could lose his job. Are you willing to put him through that if you really like him so much?

I think the best thing to do is to let him know that you cannot continue this relationship. You don't need to alert the authorities on his behavior. Just know that you are putting yourself, your repuation, your heart, his reputation, his job, possibly his family, and many other things in jeopardy with this relationship. Don't risk it. There are plenty of other hotties out there for you to choose from ;)

In the short term (like if you were to step a the scale tonight), you might notice a change(about 1-5 pounds). This is especially true if you were on a restrictive diet because your body will retain water from the meal. But in the long term, indulging on thanksgiving dinner will not set you back in your weight loss goals unless you let it. If you eat right tomorrow and maybe work out a little bit harder, you'll be fine. Don't deprive yourself to "make up for it" and don't beat yourself up about it.
