So, I've known this girl since 6th grade. We're both going into 12th, now. I realized that I was in love with her about two years ago. I moved one year ago. Up until then, we had more or less palyed a game of cat and mouse: I'd be dating someone when she wanted to date me, and visa versa. So, we never got around to actually dating one another, though we had gone on one or two sparadic dates.
Here in lies my dilema. I sincerely love this girl, and would do anything for her. But, I live a good 600 miles away now, and though we keep close touch, I'm torn apart by the fact that I can't have her, and that I have to watch her date other guys which I know don't love her as much as I do. I told her how I felt, and that I felt that way for a long time. She responded telling me I was too late--that had I told her sooner and if I still lived where she does, things could've been different. And with college near, and both of us with our eyes on the same colleges, I find myself curious as to what could happen there.
So, I guess, my question is, am I just fueling a fire that'll never produce anything and should begin to move on, or am I right to look at college as a new opertunity to show her how much I really love her, and perhaps start the relationship I've always wanted with her? (link)

wow. i'm going to ask you a question. does she feel the same way about you? i mean so in love with you & all. if she does.. then hunn nothing can stop you two. college could be a point in your lives where you finally get to be together.
&& if you haven't moved on by now.. something is telling you not to. it sounds lame but its true. if there is seriously something about this girl you CANNOT get out of your head... then just leave her there.
i guess what i'm saying is that go for it. you only live once, and you can never truly live until you've found something worth dying for. who knows.. maybe you & this girl will be what you will want to live for everday.

hmm.. some friendships can withstand that.. while others cant. it depends...is he the type of guy that would be considerate to your feelings or the kind of guy if you told him he'd give you the cold shoulder? take a look of his ex's.. if hes still friends with them take that as a sign that he'll be considerate towards your feelings. you could be like "i dont want this to change anything between us bcuz your one of my best friends but i think you should know.." or something like that. hope this helped =)

set him straight. but yah basically confront him and be like okay dude you wanted to be with me, you wanted to be my boyfriend. so act like it. don\'t make empty threats tho.. give him a little bit of time and take it slow. if hes around people he knows after you confront him with you and he like kind of touches you, take it as progress.

umm okay. i know what you mean bcuz i was kind of in the same situation sort of.. if you both still have feelings for eahc other thats great. but if he doesnt want a girlfriend right now theres not much you can do to change his mind.. it's summer time, so maybe you both should go crazy and have fun..and when school starts up again if yall still have feelings for each other then give it another shot. i hope that helped lol

ahaha uhmmm.. girls act like who theyre hanging out with. all girls can deny this but its true. if theyre hanging out with someone that doesnt like you, then they might go a long with them && shit. ooorrrrr it could be jealousy could be a factor. if girls are jealous of you they'll try to say anything to bring you down. hope this helped =)
