my boyfriend and i have been dating for about 4 months now and i have decided it is about time i start to take more of an interest in his favorite hobby, cars. it would really make him happy.
the only issue is i know nothing! i tried to research it but the whole subject is so broad and i find it quite complicated to identify each car let alone know which ones are nicer. my boyfriend tries to explain everything to me but i rather make contributions of my own
is there any way i learn about cars a little bit quicker? like cars for dummies or anything?
by the way i already know that...
- a Hemmy is a type of powerful engine found in dodges
- chrystler and chevrolette are dealerships, not cars [i feel so dumb for not nowing that]
- they don't make camaros anymore [he has one, its his pride and joy, i would like to learn about these especially]
- nitrous is used to make cars go faster (link)

i am a girl and i love cars. i guess i always have so i have alot of knowldege about them. start by paying attention of whats around you when u drive and what knid of cars are out there the year model and the price range for that year or model. then you can easly google the technical things.

I'm going to buy my daughter a car for her 16th birthday. I want to get her something quick, sporty, newer but used, that is 15,000 or under. What are your suggestions.

I am a 16 myself and my dad was just looking for cars for me. We looked at a Mitsubitshi Eclipse, very sporty, i loved it it was an 2008 and started at 19,000 so im sure if u found a used one that was a year or two older it would be right around your price range! also check out the Hyundai Tiburon. My cousin got one for her 16th and they are very similar to the Eclipse but cheaper. Good luck!

For my first car, I want something "newer looking" so I don't anything under a 2002, fast, automatic, and 15,000 or under. I made a list of possible cars.
- 2004 Subaru WRX
- 2002-2004 BMW 325i or 325iC
- 2005 Hyundai Tiburon
& if i can find a Infiniti G35 coupe that is in my price range, then that too.

if your looking for something classy then deffinatly the BMW. If your looking for something classy and sport go with the Infiniti. Or just sporty go with the tiburon. Id personally pick the Infiniti if u can find one b/c its sporty and classy and thats my personality. I recenlty got my first car it ia an Acura TSX. Its safe and looks great too but be prepared to pay premeium gass prices with the top of the line cars

sooo after my last question, everyone told me i should take my chance with Jay, so i did. and we've been together for 3 days i think. and two days ago he said he loved me and cared about me more than anyone. my last bf said that, too. and he swore he would never hurt me. emotionally, i mean. and he still did. and i let him say he loves me and i believed him so i started loving him too and then it scarred me for life after he broke it off. now i dont know if i should trust Jay with my heart, or if the glue is still drying. (talking metaphorically here, sorry) how will i know that hes not going to hurt me? how will i know who to trust with my love? (link)

i am in this situation right now. except i broke it off with my last bf, but for a while i thought he was the "one". my current bf has had alot of gf's in the past and quite recently too. he cheated on too of them and tends to lie alot. he has told me many of the things your new bf told you. i know your wonder how you could be with someone like that but it happens. i can't completely trust him yet and weve been together 3 months. i think it takes time and be smart if you learn to fully trust this guy with your heart b/c it can easly be broken. i try to keep in mind that i love my bf but that he has made stupid mistakes that he would possibly make again..
