Sometimes girls will like that and take it as compliment(thats if they like you) but other girls (who dont like you) will just stick their nose in the air and ignore you because they think you're being too straight forward.I suggest you be their friend first,help them trough bad times,make them laugh that stuff.Most of the time their best guy friend will end up being the closest boyfriend to her. Plus you can also make her parents *cough cough...dad* like you more so when you ask her out they'll be overjoyed! Take my word for it, most girls think it's romantic when their best guy friend asks them out. I've had it done to me. Even though it takes time, it works!
