Q: Hello (: In my drama class we are required to do a duo scene. My partner and I are both female, 17 years old, and we are having the most DIFFICULT time finding a scene. if ya'll could help that would be absolutely FANTASTIC! we dont have a preference to whether its a drama or comedy but it does need to be 8-10 minutes long from a full length contemporary play (1950-present day). and if you could... have lots of different choices for us to pick because we may have done that play before or someone else may be doing it. i know beggars cant be choosers but... im begging you!!!! HELPP! (: SO!! theather geeks.... drama nerds... band together and help us find a kick ass duo scene! pretty please? I LOVE YOU ALL!

Why Torture Is Wrong, and the People Who Love Them by Christopher Durang (essayist, Garrett Eisler)...It's kinda long, but these were the plays that were chosen as the best plays in 08-09. Try something out of there. Hope I helped :)

Indie happens to be my favorite kind of genre. Try listening to some electro indie kind of thing. I like the Shiny Toy Guns and Passion Pit. Some of my other favorites are Modest Mouse, The Strokes, Silversun Pickups, The London Souls, Deadbeat Darling, Asa Ransom, Mon Khmer, Drew Nix, Hank & Cupcakes...need anymore let me know. I have plenty :)
