so, this guy has had a girlfriend for 2 years, and says that he is breaking it off soon. he texts and calls me almost every weekend at like 1130 asking me to come over. i really do like him, but i have told him so many times that as long as he is still in a relationship, i dont want to get involved. he does not understand that if it is kept secret it doesnt matter... how can i get it through to him that it is not going to happen while he is still with this girl? (ive tried everything, even just saying that multiple times, but he wont give up) anyyy advice? (link)

i agree with Razhie completely.
it's quite clear what you're saying isn't getting through to him, so it's time to cut off completely with him. he's trying to get you to do something that is wrong, and you know that, which is good. Just give him the cold shoulder, and if he doesn't take the hint, tell your parents, a counselor or someone you trust that he's harrassing you.

Yesterday my friends made me text this kid because they were to afraid to. I never met this kid before in my life nor have we talked face to face. So, I thought no big deal. They wanted me to text him.. to ask who was on his shirt -_- how stupid. So, I texted him and told my name and what I was texting for and he replied with the answer and a haha. I apologized if it was awkward and he said nah, it was cool with him and we got to talking for about 7-8 minutes before I had to go to youth group. My friends texted him saying I thought he was cute. How stupid, I know. I was pissed. He replied "ha, thanks" how awkward did he feel, probably a lot! Haha, he's just this chill kid that I could see becoming better aquainted with but he answered all of my texts in a matter of four to five words. I felt like I was bothering him. All of my friends are with me, right now and they want me to text him because they think he's adorable. I would like to text him again but what do I say, haha, I don't even know if he saved my number into his phone. I just think the whole thing would be awkward. Now, before this all went down, every time we passed in the hall, we looked at each other and basically had "eye sex". What does this meannn?! I feel like I'm bothering him when I'm texting him but he looks at me an awful lot then proceeds to look at the floor, showing he is shy. I texted him first and if he is interested, I feel like the ball is in his court. Please just help me (: Thanks! (link)

If you want to text him, it should be your own choice, not because your friends told you to. I say apologise for what your friends said before, and you didn't want for it to be akward. If he still wants to talk to you then, hey! I guess he doesn't mind! ;)

I'm thinking it's a nightmare, judging by the last 2 lines. Also it's dark and scary like a nightmare.

Often in nightmares you can't call out for help, and many nightmares involve falling downward.

Okay, so I lovee to write so im writing a novel. I really need ideas because I'm having some serious writers block. It's about a teenage girl named Addison who is told in the beginning by her father that they're moving. They are currently living in a small town, greensboro north carolina and she loves it there. she was born and raised there and she considers no other place home. Her father is a corporate attorney and they are moving because he got a job offer in manhattan, new york city. Addison hates the city she's more of a suburban girl. I havent started writing the part where they actaully get to manhattan yet because im stuckk on what to write. I left off with Addison going to her room after her dad said they're moving. Then what? Any ideas would be greatt thanks.
ps: she also has a mom who lives in another state. her parents are divorced. she has a little brother and sister but i don't know how to incorporate them into the story. (link)

well, think about looking about it from her point of view, and creating little ideas about her that will shape her character. how many friends does she have in her hometown? how will she tell them about the move? will she get in a fight before she moves? does she feel more angry or sad? or both? what parts of her bedroom does she like the most? where did she go to hang out that she'll miss the most?
what time of the year is it? what will the trip be like?
oh yeah, and like the other advice-giver said, going to new york would really help. or getting a LOT of information.
try googlemaps, and getting a street view. look up and down, will the buildings be intimidating to addison? would she learn how to use a subway?
ohhhh and you need subplots. the mom-dad-divorce thing is good. does she like that she's moving because of her dad? was there a certain boy she liked? maybe a pet she confides in would help, and have the pet be in danger at one point. the reader would eventually love the pet, and then get really into it when something's going to happen to it. (like hedwid, kinda, in harry potter)

Ok, so i'm 15 and I just started my period about 4 months ago? lately i've been using pads because i'm waaaaay to scared to use a tampon.
But, pads are really starting to get on my nerves i'm constantly having to check to make sure I didn't bleed through, and they're really uncomfortable I feel like i'm a diaper.
soo here's my question, i've never had sex and i'm really tight so will putting in a tampon hurt for me? (link)

I understand, pads are totally uncomfortable and hard to explain to your little brother when he asks why your pants are making a crinkly noise...
I've never used a tampon, but from advice i've seen before, you'll eventually get used to it. It’s a good idea to use the smallest size tampon when you are learning how to use tampons for the first time. the more you relax, the easier it will be. When you are nervous, your muscles tense up, which can make it harder to insert the tampon.
If the it's done correctly, you shouldn't feel it. If you feel uncomfortable in any way, you might have inserted the tampon wrong or the tampon may not be placed far enough into the vagina. just remove the tampon and start again with a new tampon.
If you don't get it on the first try, your second try will most likely be successful. Instead of getting frustrated and giving up, just relax!!! and then try again.

okay sorry about the misleading title but i really need help!!
i am a junior in highschool and im on the girls varsity lacrosse team. every year we have a tradition called senior night, where each junior gets her own senior and they get like 3 sentimental and funny gifts. for example last year one of the girls was obsessed with lost so they got her an autographed picture of him. well since im a junior i get my own senior.
my senior is a really good friend of mine but im having a really hard time thinking of a few gifts to get her. btw i have only a little over 100 to spend. so here are some things about her that can help.
shes very very fast
shes skinny
shes a very healthy eater
shes an amazing lax player and shes playing d1 in college
she is very caring, motherly, and responsible
smart
has a very silly and goofy sense of humor
very hardworking
amazing friend
likes a lot of popish sort of music (what you would find on mtv)
loves the beach and summer..
and that all i can really think of.
so what kind of small nice little gifts would you get her.

MAybe you can find some little lacrosse gifts at a sports store, OOOH! or, go to hallmark and get one of those angels for friendship, or maybe one for sports. as for beach and summer, seashells or things made out of seashells could work :)

i broke up with my boyfriend of two years about five weeks ago. writing, especially songwriting was my life. we even did music together and recorded it and stuff. but i havent written anything since we brokeup. i really want to but it reminds me of him it just hurts, plus i dont know where to start its like my gift has been totally flushed away for good. even my notebooks of songs vanished. what can i do?? Ok, i'm a songwriter too, and i've had my happy moments and my sad moments.
When you're sad about your ex, write about how you feel! you don't always have to write about good things.
sometimes my better songs come from my worst moments. they seem more real than butterflies and flowers, and they help me get out of my funk :)
maybe you have to just wait a while, too. once you get over your ex, or find a new happiness, you'll get your swing back.

I've had my hamster for three days. The first two days she was really active and then today she buried herself in her little house and didn't come out until I tapped on the cage. Then when she came out, she ate a little bit then fell asleep in a ball in the middle of the cage. And she's choosing to chew the glass rather than her chew sticks.
Am I just over thinking things?
I had a hamster a few years ago that lived a healthy three years and I haven't had this happen. (link)

I have a Chinese Dwarf hamster, so i don't know if their behavior is different than regular hamsters, but my hamster has her on and off days. don't worry about it too much, just hold her and pet her. if she doesn't eat for more than a day, tell a vet.
