I have a problem with my guy friends.. Any guy I become friends with always winds up liking me! If I start talking to a guy from a class or with a locker next to mine, a month later he'll ask me out or admit that he likes me. That usually ruins the friendship & makes it awkward. I mean, I'm flattered, really. But I wish that I could just have guy friends who don't all ask me out. How can I prevent this from happening all thru high school? (link)

Become friends with guys who have long-term girlfriends. Chances are, if the guy has been with this girl for awhile, he's not going to be willing to cheat on her for you, and she won't be threatened by him having friends that are girls.
If a guy starts showing signs that he likes you, talk about your guy problems with him... that will send the signal that you aren't interested.
Gay guys make awesome friends too... hee!

Do get involved in high school... join clubs, do sports, SCA is always good. Make new friends, have fun, and do your work!
Don't give people attitude, ditch friends, get into drinking/drugs. Also, don't think you have to stick to one clique! Don't ditch friends for a boyfriend, and don't spend the whole time trying to get 'popular.'
