I am a 13 year old girl and I'm about 5'2 or 5'3 and I weigh about 119 pounds. it may not seem bad but I think my thighs are fat or on the larger size. Does anyone know how to get thinner thighs or ones with more muscle? and is my body weight proportional to my height and age and everything? all help is good! :) thanks. (link)
You sound perfectly healthy, my friend! If you become worried that you're gaining weight at all you should remember that you're only 13 and that people gain some weight before a growth spurt. I suggest exercising 30+ minutes per day 3 days per week if you would like to slim your thighs; try biking or running.

Are you taking birth control? Birth control can cause breast tenderness. You could also be expecting your period, unless you are currently on it which would also explain it. If you're concerned you should go to a doctor.


I know it seems stupid as I'm about to give an example of the type of info here, but this place is different.

Anyway, she just knows my age and gender, what country I live in, that I have a weak stomach, and that I like art and music. There's lots of people like that, right?

I know I'm likely worried over absolutely nothing, I'm just a pretty paranoid person about online friends. It has been pounded into my head that it's "better safe than sorry."

If you feel uncomfortable with the amount of information that you have given this person then I suggest cutting off your contact with them. It's totally understandable for you to feel nervous when we've been told not to give out our personal information. Just do what feels right.

Last night I felt really sad. I'm not sure what it was... I wasn't sure if it's the fact that I knew I was going to miss my boyfriend when he goes off to vacation, and I'm just hoping nothing will happen. Or if it's stress from me trying to make it work. If I was tired. Sad that I'm not exactly "satisfied" from this relationship due to how he treats me... Or because of school? Yesterday night I was with him, and things went pretty well. And I left feeling sad. I was worried about him because he was stressed out about many things and he didn't wanna talk about it. Maybe I was just feeling sad because he's stressed out, he didn't seem as affectionate as he was before? I'm not sure.

But it's the feeling where I really miss someone, or feeling really sad on the inside and you think that if you cry it'd relieve it. Which I did, and it made me feel a bit better but not as much. What do you think it could possibly be?? (link)
It sounds like you've got a lot on your plate right now. Do you see this relationship lasting? Is it worth the stress? Should you be focusing more on school? Make a list of your priorities right now and make a list of what you wish your priorities were right now - compare them. Your top priority should be your happiness.


i just got into middle school and i have alot of homework in every subject. It's to much! How to deal withwith this?

Try your best to get done what you can while at school. Prioritize your work to make sure you get done what needs to be done the soonest first, but don't put things off or assume that they are less important.

Talk to your parent(s)/guardian(s) about how much homework you are receiving, and if your parents are concerned with the amount of homework you are receiving they can always call the school to talk to the principal or teacher(s).
