Q: im actually really skinny but i started out with a couple stretchmarks didnt really bother me but now i keep getting more and more and mroe and i have them EVERYWHERE now but it doesnt stop they just keep coming and its not fair it really like depresses me because i know they say its part of puberty and growing up but they also tell me that stretch marks are forever they can never go away but you can lighten them.. i dont want to lighten them nor do i want to ahve laser surgery.. does that meen they really are there forever i hate them!!!

i dont want to lighten them becuase i still see them because the ones i have that are li ghter from using stretch mark creams really really show when i get tan.. and i get tan.

is this all true?? and any help??

i have the same problem, i'm pretty skinny too but i have them on my legs and sides of my stomach, i've been putting cocoa butter on them and they've been getting so light i can barely notice them, don't freak! theres hope (:

so, did izod sell its original company to lacoste ? so now it's only lacoste and izod doesn't really exist? how come lacoste is so much more well-known than izod? one girl said they are the same thing... but why do they have like separate names?

izod was the origional one, and lacoste bought it over. it's probably more expensive because its newer and is up to date on the latest fashions.

Q: How can you wash a Vera Bradley purse? I'm buying a bermuda pink hobo Vera Bradley that needs to be "laundered", but I'm not quite sure what that entails. Can I do it on a gentle wash in the washing machine and let it air dry or will that ruin it?

i wouldn't put it in the washer machine. i'd hand wash it with some detergent and warm water, the washer machine might ruin it. and no one wants to ruin those gorgeous vera's (:

I mean come on she doesnt need to make me like her. what should i do to show her i like her? she leans and holds me wnehever and i get to shy to do something back. she flirts to me and i flirt back. i try to show her i like her but i get nervous and when i try to get serious to her about saying or do something to show her my feelings to her i always make a joke about it or tease her. why do i do that?

the easiest way out of this is to just come out and say you like her. just tell her. and once she knows that, then ask her why she says one thing and then another. let her know that you'll accept her no matter what she likes because she needs to have her own individual personality

yeah she's deffinatly changing herself to be something she's not for you. which is wickedd not cool at all. tell her that you respect that your trying to get you to like her but it's not going to work that way. you have to explain to her that she doesn't need to change herself as a person for someone. and tell her you would like her more if she had her own personality and morals, not yours.

Q: ok, so im doind a project about new york fashion.. ive been looking up google websights and stuff like that, but i was just wondering, from people that live in new york city or know a lot about NYC what their oppinion of the best known shopping district/area located in NYC and who the major designers and what stores are located there..

the best place to shop is deffinatly 5th ave. it has all the classy high end designers like prada, gucci, fendi, versace, chanel, coach, louis vuitton, tiffany&co., and lots more. another good place is greene st. it has louis vuitton and lacoste around the corner. i don't live in nyc but i go there at least 5 times a year and i ALWAYS go to 5th ave. Q: 15/female. My life is great. I have everything I could ever need, and a small group of friends that I could tell ANYTHING to. My parents love me, and 99% of my family is beyond incredible, but sometimes I get too overwhelmed. I'm an only child, and my parents expect a LOT out of me. If I don't have straight high-A averages, I get privleges taken away because "I can do better" and I KNOW that they're right. I always LOVED school, and don't get me wrong, I still do, usually. But now that I'm in highschool there's more drama to deal with, and teachers are more eccentric, for lack of a better word. Sometimes it's too much to deal with. My mother attempting suicide last year was essentially my breaking point. She's got that worked out (nasty hospital screw-up and severe allergic reaction led to a decrease in serotonin; she's fine now) but nowadays I think constantly that something even worse will happen not just to her, but to many people I care about.

Sorry that was so long, but as you can see I really need to work some things out. Would it be weird to go to a therapist just ONCE, to have someone else to talk to, or would I be forced to go nine thousand times?

i know exactly how you feel. i used to love school, i was so used to getting straight A's ALL the time. and then i started high school, and the work was a little harder and the pressure was full on. my parents were always on my back about studying and getting good grades because high school grades are important for colleges because they look at that. as for you constantly worrying about your family, you need to try to stop doing that. if you honestly think you cant stop then you should consider a therapist and even if they do make you go to nine thousand, it will be worth it. you can't keep thinking about all the bad things that will happen. just take life day to day. whatever happens, happens for a reason. last year my dad took a heartattack and for a couple of months i was terrified that it might happen to someone else. and then i realized im going to waste half my life worrying than i am enjoying life. so relax, and stop worrying. keep me updated

Q: Hey um... My dad doesn't let me go anywhere. It's depressing. I've tried convincing him, and that didn't work. All of my friends are allowed to go places, and they are my same age (14) It's not fair that all of my friends have a life and I don't. Their parents let them have freedom. My mom is totally fine with me going places alone with me friends. It's just that my dad's desicion overrules my mom's. I've begged my dad to let me go places with my friends and he won't let me. I'm nearly 15 and I have never been to the movies with my friends. I get so sad and depressed and EVEN SICK being at my house with nothing to do. I't so boring and I've cried many times because I'm so f***ing bored all the time and nobody cares

darling it sounds like you've got a major trust issue on your hands. you need to tell your dad that your a teenager and that although you respect that he's trying to keep you safe, he has to let go a little. tell him that he has to trust you enough to know that you'll do the right things and make the right choices. tell him you'll always be his little girl but he has to let go a little or else you'll never learn how to be an independant individual, haha tell him that if he doesnt let you out, you'll be afriad to move on in life and be afraid to move out of the house when you're older. that might change his mind ( : good luck sweetie!

i was afriad to let her have the letter cause of her respons. i wish it i said "i wish she didnt get the note" and now she tells me she didnt get the note. so do wishes really come true? or was really a coincidence?

personally, i believe wishes do come true and i go by "be careful what you wish for" it coudl've possibly been a coincidence, but then again what if she did get the letter and liked you back. you never know unless you give it a shot.

you have to fess up and ask her if she likes you or not. thats the only way this weight will be lifted off your shoulders

when you see her, be nice. smile to her and say hi. love your enemy, it pisses them off ( : she's obviously doing all this mean stuff so you will feel bad. so act like whatever she's doing isn't affecting you at all. be a better person than her. don't be mean back, beacuse then thats being low just like her. just be nice to her and if a friend asks you if you like her, and you really dont just say yes because god only knows what will happen if she finds out. good luck!

if i were you i'd just be honest with him. if your most comfortable texting, then text him back. tell him that you really like him, but only as a friend. and then say some nice things about him that will make him feel better about him self. tell him he's really nice and has a great sense of humor and is really cute but you think you just see him as a friend. that way he knows your not trying to be an asshole about it.

Q: I'm 20/F.

i want to tell my best friend that i have feelings for her. i liked her ever scens i knew her. i've been getting alot of body languge from her and my friend told me she likes me back cause i told him what she does. (flirt, leans on me and teases me too.) i see her mostly every weekends and i always have the chance to tell her about it but i'm a wuss. when i'm around her i'm a big clumsy person, and she laughs at my clumsyness just cause.
i dont know how to tell her and the only thing is a note.

the thing is she is promblely ignoring it as i'm too. but i dont flirt with her or try to sit closer to her. She dose!

okay maybe the letter really did get lost?! just a thought, and i would deffinatly tell her before she moves on to someone else. as for telling her, just go straight out and say it. tell her everything thats on your mind and how you feel. don't be afraid or back out from doing it because then you'll never know what would've happened if you did tell her.

Q: I just got a new mascara today, L'Oreal Panoramic Curl-- the brush is curved, which seems useful, but it's a pain to use. I'm used to using straight brush mascaras..
Are there any tips for correctly using mascara with curved brush (to curl lashes)?

deffinatly get an eye lash curler. i don't know how i'd survive the day without one. as for the curved brush, just basically use it like a regular one. i have a curved one and i use it normally and mine come out great but then again, its cause i have a curler. idk why its a pain to use. i think your best bet is to just go back to striaght brushes if that works best for you and get a curler, good luck!
