Have fun, I'll answer anything, unless I have no idea how to...

Hi,
Where are the best, most respected acting schools/workshops in DFW?
I just relocated to the Dallas/FT. Worth area from Florida. I am a 22 year old. I love to act. I have been tons of plays and independent movies. It is my passion, therefore...I need to jump in full throttle and pursue my career beginning with training. I want to do it all! Broadway and Hollywood feature films are my ultimate goal.
Should I go to SMU or UNT and major in performing arts? Or should I go to one of those private acting studios like...KD Studio(Dallas), Texas Actors Studio(Euless), or something like the Casa Manana Theater for classes?
Please help. I want to train and get spotlight where can I go without being scammed by some fake school? I have looked into legit acting programs and just get the runaround. I want to pick the perfecr place to start my new career!!
Thanks

I have been involved in Casa Manana a few times, and have many friends who were VERY involved... It is amazing, I would highly recommend it!

I am looking for a homecoming dress in dark colors ie deep red, magenta, burgundy, deep blue, etc (not black or white)
I also want the type of dress that would be flowy and ties around your neck like this dress
http://www.edressme.com/6240.html
I really like it, but I wish it was more flowy, because I am afraid it will make me look huge from the side (I am slim)
I really like the fabric and the color on this one

but I don't like the back of it
I am looking for a dress and I don't want to spend more then $200, any specific links. I would appreciate it if I didn't get answers such as go to deb, dillards, nordstroms, gojane, macys, etc I've tried those, and ordering online is not a problem for me (link)

I would highly suggest finding some way to try it on before you buy it! Sometimes something can look great online, and disastrous on you!
And don't be too picky. I have a friend who always does that, and ends up buying something quickly like a day or two before the dance, and ends up looking not so nice.
When I went to prom I had a few guidelines: no strapless, no white, no mermaid style. I tried on a dress that had all three, just to make fun of it for being the opposite of what I wanted... And it looked FANTASTIC on me. I ended up wearing it and getting a ton of compliments.
I guess the basic point of this advice is to not be too picky. Just because a dress isn't exactly what you want, doesn't mean it doesn't work.
I'm sure you'll look fantastic in anything!

Okay , so i like this guy and hes soooo cute. Its one of those crushes where all you talk about is them, all you think about is them. Heres the problem: i cant say ; all i talk to is him. We talk online. And we nnneeevvverrr talk in school. its so weird. like he knows i like him but.. i dont know..
I guess you can say were shy.. or im shy... I wouldnt really know..
How do i spark a conversation without making it seem awkward? Or uncomfortable.

You should REALLY try to talk to this guy! I had basically the same thing happened, except we would talk in class, but only when we sat next to each other. I liked him for a LONG time, and nothing ever happened. A few years later(I had NEVER dated because every guy didn't stand up to my standards of him), I told him. And it turned out he had liked me too!
So just try to talk to him in person, and see how things progress from there. Even if you just start by borrowing a pencil or something...

I have dark brown hair...
what color highlights should i get??????
blonde
red
or light brown??
or do u have any colors in mind??? (link)

It also really depends on your skin and eye color too! If you are darker skinned and dark eyed, blonde or red may be a little extreme or funny looking if they are not done correctly.
I would suggest getting it done at a salon, and asking them for their opinion as well!

15/f
I asked a question like this earlier... but my answers were not good enough. So i'm asking it again
How do you grind? (motions and where do you put your hands?) and is there any way I can practice? Thnx (link)

Well, I am a 19/f. I find it easiest to just find the guys "crotch" area, and just rub my butt against it while making a kind of "figure eight" with my hips. To the beat of the music of course.
As for hand placement, let the guy do what he wants with his(unless he is doing really ridiculous stuff). I tend to put my hands on the guys hands and just let that take us where it may.
If worse comes to worse, look at what other girls are doing, and try to emulate that. Unless it looks ridiculous or slutty.
Unless thats what your going for...
