my sister and i always snoop out presents, so we know what we're getting every year. this year, the main thing i wanted was a new digital camera- a NICE one. it was the only big thing i asked for. [last year it was an ipod nano, which was then $200, and i got it.] the camera i picked out was less than $200. well, we were snooping and i found a digital camera. it's NOT what i wanted at all, and they know exact what i want in one. there IS a possibility it isn't for me, because another family member wanted one. but i'm almost positive it is.

so my question is, if it is my present, how do i let my parents know it's not what i wanted, without hurting their feelings? i ABSOLUTELY hate to sound like i'm not appreciative of what i get, because i am. but since this is the only big thing i wanted and it's not even really what i wanted, i'm disappointed. help?! _(link)

Drop a couple of hints, and maybe they will notice. If i were you i would get in big trouble for snooping.Dont tell, because if you do then you might not even get that one. All you can really do is hope that it is the one you had wanted. Be happy for what you get. You could get it for your next birthday or if you get a job like babysitting then you could buy it yourself.

To me it's the most worst form of abuse out there. I think i might be getting abused in that way right as i write this. My advice is tell a school councelor, ask her what to do.I would either tell someone close to me from my family or call the hotline. write down all the things you say to your mom and all she says back. then give it to the councelour and she will decide whether it is or is not any form of abuse.

He would have to eject the penis all the way in the vagina for you to have sex. if he did, you are not a virgin. But if he didnt, you are still clean. But if you bleed in the followind day or 2 and you arent on your period, then you popped your cherry and you are unvirginated

I am about 5 foot seven or eight and weigh about 12 stones :-S...is that really overweight? Im really depressed about it and my mums no help because she actually calls me fat to my face and when i try to wear shorts she sort of scowls at me.
Any tips on how to lose weight?...ive tried execising but i don't see a difference...ive even tried starving myself but im such a pig so i cave within the first 3 hours.

No, you are not fat. No one is fat. We were made how we are supposed to be. Everyone is beautifull in there own way. You dont need to be treated that way from your mother, and you should tell someone that she does that to you. Maybe your mother has a bad self-esteam, but she has no reson to. Dont listen to her.

P.S Dont ever starve yourself. It is not healthy for you.

At what age is it okay to get plastic surgery? _(link)

Quite personally, i dont think that anyone should go into plastic surgery. God made us all who and what we are supposed to look like.
There is also a risk of dying if you dont use an experienced professional. At the extreme, i would only recomend getting plastic surgery if you got in a car reck or were born deformed in some place.
I think the age would be 20 years old, at least.

I just saw this movie now. The original one, from 1970 something. I know this isn't asking for "advice", but I really want to know..

What happened at the very end after the priests died? Were the mom & daughter moving out because of the weird stuff? or were they going to live with the father in Europe?

Well, as you see in the end of the first movie, she is healed. But the mother and daughter end up moving. Also in the second one, the demon comes back to Reghan. I would recomend watching the other two movies, to let you see the whole story.

Me and my mom have always had this sort of best-friend sort of relationship instead of a mother-daughter relationship. I didn't tell her everything, but I did tell her enough and wasn't embrassed infront of my friends with her. Infact, I kind of like to "show her off." She's really funny and basically acts like someone my age would act - only 43 and graying hair. But right now everything sort of changed.

A few weeks ago my mom went out on a date (My dad and her are divorced) and she said she would be out a few hours. Dinner, a movie, the basics. So figured it would be a perfect time to.. well, masturbate, I suppose. Only apparantly the date didn't last as long as she expected, and I didn't hear her open the door. And she kind of heard me, since I tend to get kind of loud. I have no idea what she was thinking, I just know that she opened the door to my room and saw me. Then shut the door and didn't talk to me for the rest of the night. After I got dressed I went and found her in the kitchen, and told her that that had been a little awkward, but she didn't say anything or do anything. She just kind of ignored me. And every since then it's been kind of weird, especially since my mom is one of those pre-martial-sex-and-I'm-sending-you-to-a-convent type of people. She's only had sex once, and that was when she "planned" to have me.

Now, instead of feeling all laid back when I'm around her, I keep getting this feeling like she's giving me a dirty look, like she thinks I'm some kind of skank. And actually, I know that she thinks that, because me, being the curious one, listened in on her phone call with her best friend, who my mom told that I was turning into some kind of slut ever since I started going out with my boyfriend, which really isn't true, since I was doing this long before I started going out with him.

I just don't really know how to make things cool between us again. Or how to break the ice so I don't feel like I'm being watched ever second of every day because my mom believes that I'm doing "dirty things." _(link)

i think you mom is being unfair. masturbation is not sexual intercourse with someone else, and she has no right to call you a skank. she has probably done it to, unless she thinks masturbating is a sin. unless you are only like 11 years old, she has no reason to worry. you cant get preg. from doin it by yourself

this summer I'm supposed to go see this music producer guy so I could sing for him. The biggest of my worries is that I have a MAJOR problem with stagefright. Once in kindergarten I was standing on the stage in the auditorium doing a play. When I was walking off the stage, I tripped and fell flat on my face and all I could hear was everyone laughing at me. Ever since then I've been terrified to do anything in front of people that aren't my family. Can you please help me? _(link)

i have stagefright. if you go to speach in school, it helps. just close your eyes and imagine he is your mom or family member. or open them and imagine him in polka dot underwear.
